Go back to the old format.
This new layout is terrible. It may look sleek but functionaly I don't like it. Why can't we use the old layout. Give us a choice.
I have been with yahoo mail for more than 30 years. I thinking if going to gmail.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD VERSION OF YAHOO MAIL. You all did the same thing last year and it was not well received. WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS ?? IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT !! PLEASE LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE. This New Yahoo Mail is ABSOLUTELY AWFULL !! And I am normally the kind of person who never complains about anything. Why is this change necessary when you know that people don't want it ?? At least GIVE US A CHOICE !! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION !! (-:

Hello. I really do not like the new look of the cluttered inbox, especially, and if we could take it away, the list at the right of the starred messages, which is superfluous. I want to take that off, at the very least, if I cannot go back to the old look of the yahoo mail page. :( It's too cluttered!
Thank you! -

Bring back basic mail. You constantly switch me to this new **** and I do not like it! I prefer the layout of basic mail. This may be the thing that finally gets me to switch to gmail!

Dear Yahoo Customer Support,
I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the new version of Yahoo Mail.
The previous Yahoo Mail interface was straightforward, familiar and easy to use. The new version, however, is in my opinion a significant step backwards. I find the new design much less intuitive, more complicated to navigate and generally unpleasant to use.
I understand that services need to evolve, but changing the interface so significantly without giving users a meaningful option to retain the previous experience is extremely frustrating.
I have been using Yahoo Mail for a long time, but this latest change is making me seriously consider moving my email to Google/Gmail instead. I would prefer to remain with Yahoo, but the current version is making that increasingly difficult.
I would therefore ask Yahoo to:
Consider the substantial negative feedback from users regarding the new interface.
Provide an option to return to the previous Yahoo Mail experience, or at least provide a "classic" interface option.
Improve the usability and simplicity of the new version.
Give users more control over the interface they use. Please do not treat this simply as a general complaint about change. The problem is the usability of the new version and the fact that users appear to have little or no choice regarding the interface.
I would appreciate it if this feedback could be passed to the team responsible for Yahoo Mail.
If the new interface remains unchanged, I will seriously consider switching my primary email service to Gmail.
Kind regards,
Daniel -

Not an idea. Feedback-the new YAHOO mail sucks. Absolutely the worst version ever and I have been with yahoo since the 90's. Never thought about switching to gmail but I will be looking into that at this point. Horrible.

Please give me the option to return to the previous Yahoo Mail version. This one is terrible. When I click the "Unread messages" tab, it displays ALL my previously unread messages, incl ALL THE DELETED ONES!!! That's crazy, why would I want to go through all the deleted messages to see my unread messages. Very disappointed with being "forced" to use the new version

Yahoo mail keeps getting worse with every change to the point Im thinking about deleting my account. Will you please offer an older basic version of yahoo mail without all of the extra nonsense? For clarification, I am speaking about the desktop version, I do actually like the newest mobile version minus the silly badge thing which is super annoying and the "primary" thing is useless and there should be an option to turn both of those things off.

I was switched to the "new" version of yahoo mail that I dislike for various reasons, including but not limited to a big waste of space, the disappearance of other email addresses and a new look that just isn't so friendly

No matter what, allow us to choose which version of Yahoo Mail to use, whether it be an updated version (desired or undesired). In this case the "new version" is more complicated than the older version, harder to read and absolutely NOT necessary/ By deleting the older versions from being reverted to, you're negating the simplicity of them. Sometimes "newer" is NOT always "better" but worse and more cumbersome. At least allow us to make the choice to "upgrade" to the "newer, better version". The "newer, better version" may have more bells and whistles, but certainly isn't "newer or better" than an older version to most. Give us the opportunity to at least make the choice as to whet her accept or reject the "newer, better"? choice. Or at least keep the choice that we are familiar and comfortable with. This "new/better" version is in reality a piece of bovine excrement!!!!

Your ad placement and size has become obnoxious and intrusive. I know Yahoo has to make money by running ads. I understand that, but this is ridiculous. On the home page. In my email. Everywhere! Is Yahoo eventually going to become a full page ad on the homescreen where I have to somehow engage with the ad before I can get to the news articles and my email? I know you are also doing this to essentially force people to pay for Yahoo+. Ads are fine, but c'mon, just scale them back a bit. I am much more likely to look ad a well sized and placed ad if it is about something I am interested in than a billboard sized ad about the same product. Bigger isn't always better. But, in your case, more users will pay for no ads to avoid the hassle of having to scroll halfway down the page to get to the content they are looking for.
