Go back to previous layout
everything looks the same and it is hard to distinguish between the emails. When I hit a check box the whole column moves and is extremely annoying.
This is the worst email experience that I have ever had.

Why have you removed the option to go back to Basic? New version looks terrible. I am actively working on migrating all my email stuff to gmail this new yahoo looks so bad. Did you guys get bought by venture capitalists? Are you being Red Lobstered? That sucks.

I just want to keep my mail interface the way it has always been. PLEASE let me revert back. Have used Google, AI etc... they keep mentioning Basic Yahoo Mail. Where and how do I find that option?

Dear good people from Yahoo, I have been using yahoo mail for many years with great satisfaction. Several years ago you changed the layout and many people complained so you gave the option to use the old layout after all. Recently my layout changed again to something new and I figured out that there was a letter in the url that made this difference. (n/folders or b/folders) Where b/folders must have been a backup or so. Anyway it worked for me. Now this option is gone and my layout changed so much that it hurts to use yahoo mail. I see colors and icons that are disturbing, my screen is smaller, I can not open a mail in a new tab in my browser anymore to have 2 screen next to each other because the tabs are now only on the mail page itself. I am absolutely not happy now. I wish you will make it so that we can choose the old layout. It was more flexible, easier for the eyes, less distracting, easy to use and worked like a charm. Now that is all gone. Please restore the old yahoo mail layout.

As the title says,
I do not like the new way it is setup at all.It is WAY too big and invasive. And that you are now going to a Payment Plan for Storage for E-Mails? The reason I LOVED yahoo was I didn't have to buy some subscription plan like Apple or go through some multi-step process to just view my mail.
I don't use Apple E-mail for this reason, same for G-Mail. This was really the last place that wasn't begging for money...and even then while it wasn't the BEST E-mail service, kept giving me scam and spam mails as well as just generally having some functions that wouldn't work for some reason. It was STILL better than all the alternatives because NOTHING is perfect.
I may have to forward all my E-mail to another address at this point or change it entirely if you guys are going to be doing this to yourselves. I don't have to continue to have 'BUY OUR UPGRADED STORAGE PLAN' slapped in my face. You guys already slap ads (And harmful ones at that, yeah I mean it that you guys tend to not check if these ads lead back to a scam or pyramid scheme or worse) in our mailboxes. I get enough of that with Snail Mail. So I am sorry if I sound harsh but it's the HONEST truth. You are gonna shoot yourselves in the foot just like when you took down Geocities, just like when you changed things forcefully the first time. Why do you think so many companies are also being forced to include buttons to turn off AI? Because A) We don't need it and B) The feature is NOT necessary for just checking our mail. And I bet that even changing all this you guys are still going to have people being scammed and losing their hard earned money because you don't physically have a person take those E-mails and assist in fixing the problem. Instead: The consumer is constantly told it is their fault, they should be more careful and that you hold no liabilities for what they open and read when you SHOULD because ESPECIALLY if you are using AI that it should CATCH these types of harmful phishing attempts or more.
You'll probably just brush me off or delete this 'feedback' because it doesn't paint you guys in a positive light. And you know what, that is why I'm keeping a copy saved to my desktop.
Just as there are alternatives to Microsoft Word, there are options for E-mail that don't take into account where and how and why this E-mail service was started.... thanks for the memories.
I'm gonna start changing things over to an alternative that doesn't think before acting.

Who in the **** designed the New Yahoo Mail? This is the most confusing thing I have ever seen. Why can't we go back to the old version? And yet no one to contact or no one responds to our questions. Time to find another provider if I can't go back to the old version.

I really hate it when I open my email and it looks different than when I opened it yesterday or even earlier today. I don't like the new "improved" versions, never have. But what I really abhor is being switched to them without warning or advance notice of any kind. The last time I was switched to the "improved" version, I eventually got to switch back, but it took several days. I'm hoping for the same thing this time. The "improved" version is hard to read, lacks white space in some areas and has too much in other areas, and is just in general a visually chaotic mess. All I ask for in an email service is a place to receive emails that I can open, read, and either keep or discard. I don't need AI to help me with that. I don't need anything grouping emails together into categories that doen't make sense to me. I don't need any bells, whistles, or confetti cannons of any sort. I just need a home for sending and receiving emails. When Yahoo decides for me that I need something "better" than the most basic of services, I begin looking elsewhere for what I need. I know that my few Yahoo accounts being withdrawn from Yahoo is not going to impact your company at all, but it's the only thing I know to do. I cannot put my faith in a company that makes decisions for me and makes changes to my account without providing any advance notice at all.

Hi,
This new yahoo email version is a nightmare. We used to be able to check all and delete the page we are looking at. This way, we could unselect the few we didn't want and move on to the next page. Now, we have to either select each email we want to delete individually... or use the "ALL" option which selects 100 at a time so we have to de-select all of the previous days emails too. What a terribly user-unfriendly email.
How do we go back to the original Yahoo email? Also, I don't need you to put my email into preselected folders! Please give us the link to go back!
Thank you for listening....

New Yahoo Mail is hideous and headache inducing to look at. It's not just that it's like a nightmare version of Windows 11, it's literally almost impossible to focus on due to the color scheme and font scaling. It is instantly ******* my eyes to look at immediately. No one asked for this, but everyone is desperately asking you to get rid of it. You just killed the last workaround to get the old view. I quite honestly can't use it the new way, and I'll be looking to completely phase out using your platform for good.
