Go back to previous layout
everything looks the same and it is hard to distinguish between the emails. When I hit a check box the whole column moves and is extremely annoying.
This is the worst email experience that I have ever had.

Dear Yahoo Mail Team,
I have been using Yahoo Mail for many years, and I find the old version of Yahoo Mail much more convenient, user-friendly, and comfortable to use than the current version.
The new interface does not suit my preferences, and I miss the simplicity and ease of use of the classic Yahoo Mail experience. Currently, there is no visible option to switch back to the old version.
I kindly request that you bring back the “Switch to Classic Mail” option, allowing users to choose between the old and new interfaces according to their preferences.
Users should have the freedom to use the version that best suits their needs. I believe many long-time Yahoo Mail users would appreciate having this choice again.
Please consider this feedback and provide an option to return to Classic Yahoo Mail.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
A Long-Time Yahoo Mail User -

This is feedback on the new mail Yahoo. I prefer the previous classic view. This new Yahoo mail seems more cluttered perhaps because of the layout. It is harder to find an email from the layout. I don't know how to further explain, but the look and feel is unappealing. I cannot not easily spot unread emails from the subject lines. I hope I am explaining myself clearly.

I’ve used Yahoo Mail for many years, and I want to share specific feedback on the redesign. Several changes in this new (to me) interface have made my daily workflow harder. (New to me because I stayed with Classic view until the option was removed last week.)
Reading space: On a smaller laptop screen, the fixed right-hand panel for starred messages takes up about a quarter of the window and can’t be resized or collapsed. As a result, I can’t read a full message in the main view and have to open it in a separate tab. Starred messages are already available from the left navigation and drop-down filter, so the right panel could be optional or removable. The Classic view was compact and efficient for many of us, and I’d encourage bringing it back or keeping it as an option.
Visual design: The Barney the Dinosaur color theme feels out of place for an email service many of us use for work. A more neutral palette or a choice of themes would help tremendously.
Filters: The “None” option in the filter menu doesn’t seem to do anything. Could you clarify its purpose or remove it?
Trash retention: I used to control how long messages stayed in Trash before they were deleted automatically. I’d like that setting restored. 7 days is not enough.
Sorting: Sorting by sender is no longer available in any folder. It’s useful for managing mail, so I’d ask that it be brought back.
Gamification: The kudos and streak pop-ups that require manual dismissal interrupt the main task of reading email. Giving paying users the ability to configure their own experience would help.
I’d like to keep using Yahoo Mail, as I've had my account for almost 30 years. But these changes are making that harder. If these user experience changes are not addressed, I’ll have to reconsider my Mail Plus subscription. I’d be glad to test future changes if that would help.

The aesthetics of this new mail are horrid and not user friendly. The design team dropped the ball on this, and I'm sure you've gotten plenty of negative feedback to prove it. Why not make a product that users like?

There is no reason to push me to a new layout - I don't like it, not as functional and clanky to manage 2 yahoo email boxes switching between the 2 is much harder - more steps
I'm 70 years old and the layout change is just too much - try to be kind to the older folks who have used your product for decades and struggle with changes.

The new display is terrible for viewing. The old display was much easier to view and navigate. It is now terrible and gives a reason to search out other email options.

Please give us back our old email inbox. Everything now is so confusing and there is no good distinctions to tell my emails apart like before. I truly hate this new look!! You tried this once before and we hated it then too. WHAT MADE YOU THINK WE WOULD ACCEPT IT NOW! Put it back to the way it was! This is so horrible! I'm considering canceling and going to gmail.
STOP messing with a good thing. You are really making me mad.
I want the old look back...NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Hello,
I would really like to still have the option to switch to the classic view that I have been using for years. The new one is not very practical and makes it much more difficult to use.
Thank you in advance. -

Please return to the older mail box and stop changing things when it was never asked for. This new mail really is harder for older people to use.

Why can we not go back to the old site, we did before? Most people do not like this at all. Let those of us go back to the old site.
