Go back to previous layout
everything looks the same and it is hard to distinguish between the emails. When I hit a check box the whole column moves and is extremely annoying.
This is the worst email experience that I have ever had.

Please give me my old view back. I don't need some 20 year old kid that continues to try to improve the view/layout. Please provide a simple way to get the old view / layout back. Improve the function not the layout.

I have used Yahoo Mail for well on 25 years now because it is simple and easy to look at. It isn't- wasn't bogged down by excessive screen space utilization, it didn't forcefully show you the icon of the sender in the email list, it was just a simple list that was easy to look at, with no extra clutter. The dark mode is too dark with the text too bright, and the light mode is too bright, and there is no ability to make it so either option is less intense. The way emails were clustered together based on a date category showing above those emails made it easier at a glance to know when those emails were sent. Everything about this seems like it's trying to imitate gmail. if I wanted to use gmail, I'd be using gmail.
I'm not sure why I am bothering to post this when I know this won't change anything, and I'll just be met with "Just give it a try! You might like it!"
If I wanted to give it a try, I would have given it a try the 10 other times you forced me to use it but kept the "Go Back" button. If I liked it, I wouldn't have used the "Go Back" button.
These are changes being made for the sake of making changes to appease shareholders. I don't expect anything to change, but I wanted to air my frustrations all the same. Maybe things will improve when compact view is implemented, and maybe things will improve when the ability to set a color tone that isn't pure black or white is available.

If your company is going to change my yahoo format, the very least you could have done was to let me know in advance that you were going to do it today (Tuesday). Then without asking me if I wanted it, you just went ahead and did it. For your company to do this was inconsiderate, disrespectful, and unprofessional, and COMPLETELY lacked class, conscience, integrity, and character towards me. I want to speak to someone about this senseless act you have committed against me. Please call me at (781) 572-8366, or respond to me at kenkotelly@yahoo.com. Thank you, Yahoo. and I look forward to your response.

You can put my old inbox back like it was instead of changing it for no apparent reason.

Crazy idea - "If if ain't broke, don't fix it". I could already sort all my emails into folders. I already had a nice compacted view. I had separation between days. I could open any help and settings in a new tab by default and not interrupt my inbox. I had clean visuals, even with the old ads. I could see more of my folders at once and had less scrolling to get between my folders. Everything both wastes so much spaces and is so big but is still so hard to read because of the design choices.
I don't want any new features, storage, or rounded corners - I just want my email to be what it's supposed to be - reliable. I already tried the "new" mail and didn't like it. Why force everyone to change when it's ugly, took away capability, and made itself LESS reliable in its function?

Your "New improved Yahoo email", is slower, shows less information on a page, and adds features most people either didn't want, or outright hate. "AI is intrusive". "Bulk Delete" - click on one button to delete 25 year of emails - "what an outrageously dangerous and stupid idea".
Please... just bring back the old useful interface, and stop trying to me my mother and manage my email for me.
Feel free to add new tools that I can ignore, but stop forcing your useless **** on me, and killing performance in the same stroke.
If you want to do something useful, bring impeded photos back. -

I would love to go back to basic yahoo email. I don't want color coating on my email. This is hideous and distracting. Where is the option to revert back to the most basic form of mail. I don't want your self imposed ideas on my inbox. They are not wanted.

I am VERY upset about the forced change to the new Yahoo Mail interface.
One of the most important features for my workflow was being able to see all of the different email addresses/accounts that I have added to my Yahoo account in the left-hand panel. That feature allowed me to quickly see and manage the different email accounts from one place.
Removing that functionality has completely changed the way I use Yahoo Mail. This is not simply a matter of disliking the appearance of the new design. You have removed a feature that was central to my daily workflow, and now I am struggling to manage my email the way I have for years.
I am extremely frustrated that Yahoo made this change without giving users the choice to keep the previous interface. Users should not be forced into a new workflow when the existing one was working perfectly well for them.
Honestly, if I could easily move everything over to Gmail, I am seriously consider doing so. I am looking into Apple Mail as another option as that is a similar design I had RIPPED from my work day.
This is a major disruption to my workflow, and I am asking Yahoo to reconsider this decision and restore the ability to view and manage all added email accounts from the left-hand panel, or at minimum provide users with an option to use the previous interface.
Please do not treat this as a complaint about colors, buttons, or appearance. This change has materially affected how I work and manage my email.
I am asking that this feedback be forwarded to the Yahoo Mail product team.

Why did you do this? The new platform is absolute trash. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the classic mail. I run my business through this and am missing tons of mail because your interface is not pleasant to the eye and things are getting missed. This is an absolute swing and a miss on your behalf. Why are you not allowing us to go back to classic? Lastly I have given many feedbacks with ZERO response, why is that?

I am very unhappy that Yahoo Mail is forcing users into the new interface without giving them the option to continue using the previous layout.
The previous Yahoo Mail design was familiar, efficient, and easy to navigate. The new design changes the placement and appearance of features that I have used for years, and I do not want Yahoo deciding that I must use a completely different interface.
I understand that Yahoo wants to update its products, but users should be given a choice. At minimum, Yahoo should provide an option to return to the previous interface or offer a “classic” layout for users who do not want the new design.
Please pass this feedback along to the Yahoo Mail product team. I would strongly prefer to continue using the previous Yahoo Mail layout rather than being forced into the new design.
Yahoo WAS preferred over Gmail because of the classic layout...

I have several yahoo email accounts (work, personal, online purchases, etc) and I regularly switch between each of them. The old interface showed my current email login (e.g. cingham1) which was helpful so I knew which account I was looking at, and it had a dropdown menu option to easily switch accounts. In the new interface how do I switch accounts??? Very confusing.

Quit trying to be like google mail, and go back to the classic mail, who wants to read their mail in a small screen with borders like a **** virtual tv screen. Quit forcing your updates on us.
