I've been using Yahoo! Mail for almost 30 years. And I've got aquainted with the old version. Today I opened my mail box, and found new appearance. Perhaps, new design is better than previous one, but I prefer the old one, as I used to work with it for many years.
Please provide an option to get back to old Yahoo! Mail version.
Not all the people in the wold like changes. Please respect values and preferences of other people, and give them right to choose.

Your new webmail interface is pathetic. It does not have option to block spam emails like the old version. It does not easily allow to see the sender's email id, or even the other email ids in cc. Give an option to revert webmail interface

I absolutely hate the new setup. It is not at all pleasing to the eye. Light set is to light, dark set is to dark. It makes it very hard to find anything and put a strain on the eyes. This change just happened. I was not given a choice to have it done so I don't know if there is anything that I can do about it but I would much rather have left it alone as it was.

The adds are also extremely annoying and the fact that I would have to pay to get rid of them is even more annoying. I started this email years ago and the main reason I choose yahoo is that it was a free email that was easy to navigate and get things done in. That is not the case anymore. I'm going to have to do some major thinking on the whole thing and decide weather or not I want to continue to use yahoo for anything other than a junk email for those things that I don't really care about at all.

Absolutely hate the new version of Yahoo mail. Should allow the previous as an option.

Yahoo mail was great, probably the best email tool around. Then you went an forced us to use this new bubbly, space wasting, limited option interface.

If an option to use something more like the old interface isn't release soon I (and probably a million more like me) will be leaving for another tool. This new interface is horrid, It's made my email feel child like.

One of the reasons I pay for yahoo plus is that I can see all of my mailboxes in one view and see the unread counts on each mailbox. In this new view I have to hover over the inbox in order to see all of my accounts. Not good. A step backwards.

With the recent changes all the information on a folder which held documents for my father's estated with changed to SSSS with no content. Loss all legal documents.

I do not know why you did this. I liked being able to see all my different emails on the left side. Why did you hide them? Why change at all? Everything was working great but this really really sucks.

Your "improvements" are nothing but make-work for programmers looking to justify their existence. They are NOT "better".

I am very disappointed with the "New Email". I have been using the other email you just replaced for years. I like it, I'm used to it. It works/worked just fine !! Why fix something that isn't broken ?! THERE IS NOTHING BETTER ABOUT THIS NEW EMAIL !! It's worse !

A very good percentage of people using Yahoo! Mail prefer using either Basic or Standard, not whatever you call this ******* mess you've shoved down our throats, and refuse to give us an out.

Please put the format back to the way it was and stop changing the formats. Yahoo classic format please.

quit making my emails "primary" instead of all, all my emails are primary, quite looking at my **** and trying to make some clandestine judgment call on what matters to me. ********.

The old layout was better than what I see now. Not sure what you have actually 'improved'?
It would have been helpful if you had allowed re-sizing of the columns in the new UI. This applies across the views.

I am extremely disappointed with the new Yahoo Mail desktop layout.

I used the old Basic Mail for many years because it was simple, easy to navigate and comfortable to look at.

The new Light mode is far too bright and uncomfortable on my eyes, while Dark mode is unnecessarily dark. The old Basic Mail had a much softer greyish appearance, which was considerably easier to use.

Another major frustration is the large, empty panel on the right-hand side of the inbox. It takes up valuable screen space, and I cannot find any way to remove it, even with List view selected. I would much prefer my emails to extend across the full width of the screen.

I would strongly urge Yahoo to:

Introduce a softer grey theme similar to the old Basic Mail.

Allow users to remove the right-hand panel completely.

Restore a compact, traditional email list without large coloured sender icons.

Reconsider allowing customers to switch back to the old Basic Mail layout.

I appreciate that Yahoo wants to modernise its service, but removing a familiar and accessible layout without offering customers a choice is disappointing.

Please listen to long-standing users who prefer a straightforward, traditional email experience.

Wow. What incompetent email designers you have. Obviously, they have never used email before or maybe their brains are simply blown out from digital communications use, because the clearly don't have any mental ergonomic or visual ergonomic sense. Why would you spread everything out on a large white space for people to read? Have you never used digital technology before? is the idea of Yahoo Mail to make people go blind? Are you all new to technology? Do you only get 1 or 2 emails per day? Yahoo has become an optometric catastrophe.

I'm sorry, but unless you learn how to use and design email, I am leaving and I promise to advertise your incompetence to the rest of the world, as aggressively and influentially as I can. You do not belong in technology. None of you do. I have used email in many varieties and forms, and you are obviously incapable of designing email so that people can use it. If you are trying to make people use other forms of communication then you are succeeding in a giant way.You very clearly do not have normal visuomotor skills, and certainly don't what they might be, let alone have the competence to design for their comfort and effectiveness. That's just one problem. Do you really think that people who have been using email for 10, 20, 30, or 40 years, are going to rewrap their physiological ability to read email according to your arbitrary perceptual design? Don't you have professional testers? The current design is unusable for humans. Maybe your team can take a course in the basics of front-end design?

i dont need it

This new look for the email client sucks and I want the email to look the old way it did before!!! Why would you force this new look down our thought? Make it at least an option to upgrade to, not be mandatory for everyone. Why would you have to change on something that was working fine already and was looking great.

Please. the new look is killing me. Its too small I need to see a lot more lines of my email. the box is too small the lines are too far apart. I cant stand it. Its something im constantly looking at and i cant stand it. HELP
