Right Side Panel (Contacts, Starred, Etc)
There should be a way to remove the contact box on the right. This feature is useful when two windows (one is yahoomail) are displayed side-by-side. During these situations, window real estate is valuable.

Please make it a Right-Side Navbar because View is not needed anymore because of deprecation of Notepad. This way, we could make the Center FlexBox (Email-View) wider

The sidebar on the right of the screen showing the contacts and starred icons is annoying. It takes too much space on the screen and I have to keep shutting it off every time I open my email. I need more space for composing and reading emails (reading pane), I don't need to see a list of the emails I've starred. Is there a way to keep the sidebar from opening? I don't ever want to see it.

Please make this pane collapsible. It takes up a ridiculous amount of screen space, and I don't want to use it.

We shoud be able to take that box offour screen if in our situation it is irrelevant and we do not need or use the tabs you have created. It needs to be able to see all of our email info like the old yahoo if we so choose. I keep mine on a rt hand read screen and now since you won't let me change back to the old yahoo with this account I have to scroll down AND over to see the whole email. It is way more time consuming and honestly this is one of my smaller accounts with you so I may just switch it to a different provider. Sad but true--been with yahoo for over 20yrs and now I can't stand to get into this email due to not being able to st it up the best way that works for me

Please get rid of the unused space taken up by starred items box so I can maximize message and preview pane view.

I have no starred messages so that empty box is taking up a third of my screen where I would prefer to preview the message I am on. That's a waste of space and I don't want it permanently on my screen. Please configure the layout to maximize only my message and the preview box. All that other stuff is unnecessary and a waste of space.

That side panel doesn't let you get a good preview on laptops when using the web version of Yahoo Mail. It should be minimally collapsible. It is really annoying in its current state. I don't always need to see my contacts, starred emails or settings available 24/7. It chews up valuable real estate.

Hi, there are no collapse button for the right section containing the 'Calendar, Starred, Settings, Contacts, More' (at least) on Firefox Version 158.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11.
This section is a repeat of options I already have in the left panels thus useless AND it takes 1/4th of the entire width. It makes reading emails on a small laptop difficult when using the bottom split and very difficult when using the vertical split.
It cannot be minimized, moved or removed entirely.
NOTE: My version cannot revert to the old/classic Yahoo.
Could you please fix that?
Thank you. -

Just as with the left-side icon-only option, make the same apply to the right side icons, which now reset every time the screen refreshes or you sign out/in. If you hover and click the right double arrows to make that change, keep it permanent until you change back.

Need to enable use of contacts or calendars to fill the space on the right. Secondly, need to provide better clearer colored borders or frames around different segments of the page. Now they all blend together.

As I said above, bring a better WIDTH when bringing up email for reading or writing rather than the ridiculous widening of the advertisements to the right!!
Also keep emojis, that have been previously selected, at the top area when once chosen so that it's easier to click many of the same ones over and over again rather than having to scroll down looking for them again.
And you've also removed the font(s) that I used for many years previously. Grrr. Sure wish any of us would be able to GO BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION ALSO FOR MANY YEARS.
WHY DID YOU MAKE THESE CHANGES?? GRRRRRRRR! -

You have (the right) 1/3 of the screen devoted to nothing/garbage which serves no purpose at all. What TH are you thinking???

It is extremely frustrating that the right side panel cannot be collapsed or switched off altogether because I am unable to even properly read my emails in the space left for the actual email window.

(1) COLUMN WIDTH
I would like to have the ability to adjust column-width.
This would be for all columns including the one that shows “Inbox”, Sent”, “Drafts”, “Scheduled”, etc.
(2) SORTING
I would like to be able to sort both INBOX and OUTBOX emails by any column of my choosing; that is by SENDER, TOPIC or DATE.
Having this ability would make it much easier to scroll through the entries and to delete unwanted emails.

Remove the stupid box on the right-hand side of the page! My emails are being truncated because of that box. I do not use the box it is just wasted space and because of it I can not read my emails. Give me a function that I can DELETE that box!

The starred email section can be collapsed but it reappears every time yahoo mail is refreshed or closed and reopened. there needs to be a setting to save the collapsed view so it doesn't keep popping up, thus requiring extra clicks to (temporarily) collapse it again.
