Right Side Panel (Contacts, Starred, Etc)
There should be a way to remove the contact box on the right. This feature is useful when two windows (one is yahoomail) are displayed side-by-side. During these situations, window real estate is valuable.

Please make this pane collapsible. It takes up a ridiculous amount of screen space, and I don't want to use it.

We shoud be able to take that box offour screen if in our situation it is irrelevant and we do not need or use the tabs you have created. It needs to be able to see all of our email info like the old yahoo if we so choose. I keep mine on a rt hand read screen and now since you won't let me change back to the old yahoo with this account I have to scroll down AND over to see the whole email. It is way more time consuming and honestly this is one of my smaller accounts with you so I may just switch it to a different provider. Sad but true--been with yahoo for over 20yrs and now I can't stand to get into this email due to not being able to st it up the best way that works for me

I have no starred messages so that empty box is taking up a third of my screen where I would prefer to preview the message I am on. That's a waste of space and I don't want it permanently on my screen. Please configure the layout to maximize only my message and the preview box. All that other stuff is unnecessary and a waste of space.

That side panel doesn't let you get a good preview on laptops when using the web version of Yahoo Mail. It should be minimally collapsible. It is really annoying in its current state. I don't always need to see my contacts, starred emails or settings available 24/7. It chews up valuable real estate.

Just as with the left-side icon-only option, make the same apply to the right side icons, which now reset every time the screen refreshes or you sign out/in. If you hover and click the right double arrows to make that change, keep it permanent until you change back.

Need to enable use of contacts or calendars to fill the space on the right. Secondly, need to provide better clearer colored borders or frames around different segments of the page. Now they all blend together.

You have (the right) 1/3 of the screen devoted to nothing/garbage which serves no purpose at all. What TH are you thinking???

Remove the stupid box on the right-hand side of the page! My emails are being truncated because of that box. I do not use the box it is just wasted space and because of it I can not read my emails. Give me a function that I can DELETE that box!

The starred email section can be collapsed but it reappears every time yahoo mail is refreshed or closed and reopened. there needs to be a setting to save the collapsed view so it doesn't keep popping up, thus requiring extra clicks to (temporarily) collapse it again.

How can I get rid of the pane to the right side of the message list? It's the pane that allows me to list contacts. I don't use it; don't want it, and it takes up too much real estate on my screen. I can't find any setting that would allow me to get rid of it.

Please add the ability to remove the right hand pane that currently shows the weather. Since I get the weather from 100 other places, I don't need that feature but when you turn it off you're left with a blank box that has nothing in it but also, seemingly, can't be removed. It's just wasted space that prevents me from seeing my email titles or senders because I can't open them up to the right.

How can I turn off the useless panel on the right? How can I change the colours?

Glad to see that compact view is coming, that was my main complaint. I can't see needing the box on the right where starred messages and contacts are. New messages are bolded and have the dot next to them, but the bold version of that font looks too much like the regular version. Maybe make the already read messages have a grey color to their text in the Inbox view.
Over all I was happy with the old layout.

Glad to see compact view is coming. Please make sure it works with the right-side preview pane. Right now each email takes three lines when the preview pane is on the right, and the only way to get single-line rows is to put the pane at the bottom, which wastes a lot of space on a widescreen monitor. A one-line list showing sender, subject, and date next to a right-side reading pane is the layout I need.

The third column in my mail makes it difficult to read my messages. The UX design is terrible and unusable.

Also, make a separation as in the previous view, today, Monday, Tuesday, Wed, etc. Last week, last month, last year
in the inbox. All the color is very distracting. Make a black and white view. -

under appearance make it to where you can hide the column on the right. also separate the days with a thick bar between the emails like on the old style.
