Colors
Please restore my old format of the Yahoo Mail. Please restore the colors, design and everything as it was. I can't distinguish between new mails and ads, there's no structure, everyuthing seems just a bunch of mixed trash in an Inbox. UGLY UGLY UGLY and worst of all, confusing and non funcional. Please restore my Yahoo Mail, especially the INbox with its format and design

bring back themes like from the old (better) version. and also give the option to have the ui and general appearance of the desktop site be in dark mode but the emails themselves be in light more

Please allow the email background color to be changed from grey - it is a horrible color.

I don't like the appearance of either the Light or Dark modes. It's difficult to see the difference between read and unread emails. The light is too white. If I could shade the background a little, that would help a lot.

Backgrounds or themes enable the differentiation between email accounts where you have more than one

This new format is very hard to read/see emails. Please add some definition that is similar to what was available before. I cannot differentiate which email I am looking at or what is new or has been read. Very ******* the eyes and not an improvement.

different color would be nice and a normal size window to view the **** email, the window is to small, you dirtbags shouldn't have changed it, and it's not easy to to tell if the message has been read

The actual light and dark mode options are dreadful and make reading and seeing emails very difficult. Please for the love of god bring back some of the old themes, layouts and appearances. Or at least create new colour schemes, font choices and designs so we can adjust our inboxes to our preferences. The emails were perfect before. I don't see why you felt the need to fix something that wasn't broken. A completely unnecessary change.

The Light theme in the newer version is way too bright (even at lower brightness). Dark theme is appearing heavy on the grey end instead of black (even OLED screen doesn't add any depth to it).
Documents attached in mails to be opened (as preview) parellel to the mail itself, (without cosing the mail), same as the previous versions. -

The New Yahoo Mail does not offer themes or options to change background on a desktop. However, those features are available on the mobile app. Why???? It should be made available to ALL subscribers. It's not just for an aesthetic reason or personal preference. It is also for those of us with light sensitivity. The desktop version needs to offer softer, low-contrast tinted background options for eye sensitivity, beyond pure white Light mode and black Dark mode. I cannot believe that this wasn't taken into consideration when these changes were arbitrarily made.

I would like different backgound colors I don't care for the dark and the white ones make it hard the see the text. I think other color choices would make things subtle and choosing a color kind of makes it your own.

Hello, with the new yahoo mail, there is only the option to switch between white and black backgrounds, neither of which have really good visual contrast for checking mails. Can you please re-introduce the themes / background images?

Hi. The old UI was so much better and didn't hurt my eyes to look at it.. I mean I don't even know if large chested anime girls with kittens could save this UI.. but I get it.. you need to show you are doing 'something' to show you are doing your job.. and as we on the internet transition to long term providers, such as yourself.. I mean in 1999, when I made my Yahoo account.. I could have had my first name @yahoo.com .. it was available, but I liked the anonymity of a user name.. I digress, I've seen a LOT of updates over the years.. and from other providers.. I mean Yahoo Mail wasn't perfect but it was solid and comfortable.. but then you get MS replacing Media Player.. which was *perfect* as it was.. Facebook mashing up their UI when in 2019/2020 again it was *perfect* .. the new Yahoo Mail is a major step down from the old one.. seems geared towards mobile users and disregarding desktop users. Seems the theme is hurting my eyes and nothing I can do about it.. really.. that's not hyperbole.. it's hurting my eyes. .. I *get* that with each generation of Devs that come in they want to show they are doing their job.. even bringing in new clients.. but doing that at the cost of long term clients, for a long term provider.. I don't think it should cost me my comfort in Yahoo Mail, signed a customers of yours of 27 years. thank you for reading this, nothing was said in meanness, I just .. never needed an update and was fine.

I cannot get used to this new yahoo even after a week because it physically literally hurts the eyes the white color is too white. I looked on reddit r/email and other people who have used yahoo for over TWO DECADES talked about the white color, the white and black contrast of the color contrast of the page and font hurting their eyes and how people want to be able to put the color layouts/themes. Your customer base of nearly 30 years is saying their eyes are hurting, this is bigger than a layout ui change we can get over. Our eyes physically cannot handle the change it hurts our eyes! Some people on reddit were even saying to email the ceo to tell him this but I am not doing that but this change is too much. also I use dark mode for everything else but I don't like using dark mode for email and I am suspecting other people don't either.

I had a nature theme in classic yahoo! with a vintage camper in the scene. It was comfortable feeling. I can't even find themes now - and the new Yahoo! mail looks like Gmail, but not as good. I already HAVE a gmail account - I didn't need another, and my archive of emails is here. Please give us the option to go back to classic Ymail OR at least some more of the more visually pleasing and user friendly layout. Yes - I looked at the help suggestions and already made your suggested changes, and it's still low-rent gmail. As the orange guy would say...bad. Sad.

I like almost all the new parts of this but I hate the color black, and I'm light sensitive so I need dark colors. Please bring back the themes and/or color options from the earlier versions at least

The light/dark themes - the only ones available - are genuine eyesores and hard to look at since there is no color contrast, the light one is mostly white and hard to look at, the dark one is too black/on/black and hard to read anything, and both are frankly depressing to look at. Please consider adding colorful themes like the older version of the desktop client.

I don't appreciate, that I'm not being given a choice of being able to switch it back to the old way. We should be able to stay with what we have or switch if we desire not be forced too.
