Put the mailboxes back on the left where all the space is.
I can't see at a glance whether or not my other mailboxes have mail. Put them back on the left in the empty space rather than having to hover over them. Stop making designs hostile to the user, or let us go back to the one that worked.

Usability Feedback: Critical issues with the new Yahoo Mail interface
Dear Yahoo Mail Team,I am writing to express my strong frustration with the recent updates to Yahoo Mail. Instead of improving functionality, the redesign adds excessive clutter, disruptive UI elements, and frustrating limitations that make basic email management a chore.
Below is a list of the major usability issues making the platform difficult to use:
Intrusive "Streak" Popups: Notifications celebrating that I have checked my email "X days in a row" are completely unnecessary. Gamifying a basic communication tool adds zero value, interrupts my workflow, and forces me to manually dismiss unwanted popups.
Distracting Avatar Circles: The colored circles placed…

Move arrows for expanding email folders to left side of the folder name.
Move arrows for expanding email folders to left side of the folder name. With this new format, the drop down arrows are on the right side of the folder names, and when I go to drag an email into a folder, every time it inadvertently opens the subfolders and I don't want that since that messes things up and makes it harder to navigate. If you move the drop down arrows to the left side of the folder names, that would be an improvement.

Folder Routing Bug: Scheduled folder mirrors Inbox (URL locked on 00_1)
Hello Yahoo Support Team,
I am experiencing a persistent UI/routing bug in the Yahoo Mail desktop interface. When I click on my "Scheduled" folder, it fails to load the correct folder contents. Instead, it mirrors my Inbox.
Even though there is an email scheduled in the queue, clicking the folder forces the browser URL back to the main Inbox URL ending in "/folders/00_1". Testing other folders works fine; only the Scheduled folder is stuck on the Inbox routing code. I have already cleared my browser cache and cookies, but the issue persists across different sessions. Please investigate this folder mapping…74th ranked -

Don't move the message controls to the bottom
it's inconsistent and confusing for the controls to be at the top before you click on a message, then disappear from the top and move to the bottom. Please just keep the controls at the top. That whole area at the top just goes blank, so there's no reason to make it disappear.

Limited sort options and select all mails option is also missing
Team Yahoo,
In this new Fresh Look of yahoo mail you have missed out on two key features.
1 - The sort options are limited, in the previous version the user could sort alphabetically also, however this feature is missing in the new one.
2 - The select all mails option is missing.
Request to restore these options. It is getting difficult to use the new version.

Improve the "tabs" at the top so they don't hide things
The "tabs" at the top seem to obscure things more than they help. idk if maybe it's just not showing all of them or what. I close one and find it still at the top, so maybe there was another open with the same name. It needs to show all of them or make something very obvious that there are more open that don't show. ugh. It would help a lot if that right side column wasn't wasting so much space on the screen that could be used more effectively in the middle column. hating this new layout!

Consistency
If you are going to insist on making people use this new email GUI, could you at least make it consistent? I have two email addresses with Yahoo, and the GUIs are not consistent from one to the other. One has these "All, Primary,.." etc. headings and one does not. One let's you check boxes and delete, mark read, etc. across several emails and one does not. It's super frustrating that you make navigating the GUI such a pain **********. Yahoo's only saving grace is that Gmail is such an abomination. I know you are not going to do anything,…

Don't make Primary the default view
IN CAPITALS BECAUSE I'M SERIOUS. I DON'T WANT THE SO-CALLED "PRIMARY" AS THE DEFAULT VIEW IN MAIL. I AM HAVING TO CHANGE BACK TO "ALL" EVERY SINGLE TIME. I CAN'T FIND A SETTING TO SPECIFY THE DEFAULT VIEW. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION.

Flexible appearance
I can not see 4 panels: inbox, emails, preview, last - calendar, star, contacts. How do I remove this last panel? I want a bigger space for the preview. I cannot even expand it anymore like before.

Days and dates
The previous version of Yahoo separated emails by days of the week for the current week, then one section for the previous week, and one section for all older emails, all within the main inbox. Without that separation, the new inbox looks disorganized and cluttered. Put the day/week separations back.
Furthermore, stop forcing unnecessary changes on us when the previous version (like 2020/older) of Yahoo was perfectly fine as it was. Uncool.74th ranked -

Large and wasted space! Move the menu bar back to the top. Let me see my folders in an open view
This layout is so bad! Its like you are purposely making it so that we don't want to use it. I will likely move to gmail after having this account for over 30 years. The interface looked like it was designed for a preschool app. Its too large, it has a lot of wasted space, the menu bar to delete, forward, reply was moved from the top to the middle which is awful, and my folders are not viewable directly in the left hand menu, I have to click on the main folder to see them. Its so awful!

Remove the Unsubscribe that floats over the subject
The Unsubscribe button gets in the way of reading the subject of email on the main email list. Remove it! Move it under the MORE ... shortcuts. Plus it is the page when I'm reading the email.

VERY DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE AND SEND ATTACHMENTS. CONFUSING WHEN YOU PUT ALL EMAILS FROM SAME PERSON WHEN WE ONLY NEED THE MOST RECENT.
MAKE ALL EMAIL GO TO INBOX NOT ALL THESE SUB CATORGORIES, WE ARE A BUSINESS AND IT IS ESSENTIAL WE DO NOT MISS ANY EMAILS BECUASE WE HAVE TO GO INTO 2 OR MORE AREAS FOR THE INBOX. WE GET A LOT OF QUOTES FROM SAME VENDORS, ALL EMAIL ARE PRINTING FROM THAT SAME VENDOR EVEN IF IT IS A DIFFEREWNT QUOTE FROM MONTHS AGO. IT IS TIME CONSUMING WHEN ATTACHING A LOT OF ATTACHMENTS IN ONE EMAIL WHEN WE HAVE TO DO THEM ONE AT A TIME. OLD WAY WE COULD DO 5 AT A TIME AND ATTACH MORE…
