Remove the challenges and badges
Nobody needs email to be "gamified". After having this email for decades now, I'm probably going to move to another platform for my primary email. I need a simpler email. I don't more pop-ups to click through to do my business.

GET RID OF THE POPUP CHALLENGES
I am not here to play games; I am here to do work, and they are getting in the way of that, slowing me down, and upsetting me. I have used Yahoo Mail for over 20 years, but it may be time to move over to Gmail if this service cannot take itself seriously.

Get rid of the achievements, they slow down productivity.
Why are we gamifying my deleting emails? It forces me to make extra clicks to keep going, wasting my time, slowing me down, and distracting me.
Are you trying to make this hostile to working people? Can you please get ideas from somewhere other than the unpaid intern?

Make unread messages more visible
Using just bold to unread messages is stupid. Add background color like it was previously. Make this mail move faster like the old one, now its like in delay...so frustrating. Your product is worst, you did your ab testing and got the negative feedback and still decided to go along with this ********* product theme

You "Fixed" the layout again
I Just want my email to work as it has for the past two decades, why must you redesign everything for no benefit other than rounding off any edges like you're afraid of corners?

this new look is very nice but also very angering. If i only wanted to see some of my emails i just wouldnt look at them. when i log in i want all my mails to show up not just the once yahoo thinks i should see. if i feel i shouldnt be seeing something i can spam folder it or unsubscribe from it. if im in a hurry i dont want to have to click the see all just show me all of them. better yet give us the option to keep the old look and workings. it was…

Yahoo Mail composer
Hi! You’ve messed up the new interface. Here is the problem: When I set the interface to "dark mode," it looks great in the inbox. However, when I compose an email, the editor looks fine, but there’s a catch: even though the background in the editor appears dark gray, the actual email will have a white background! The recipient will receive an email with a white background. Since the background in my editor is dark gray, I might choose to write the email using white text. It looks fine to me—the white text is perfectly readable against the dark gray…

Remove the margins which waste space on narrower devices; Allow 1st and 2nd columns to be made narrower
The new mail is now unusable on my MacBook Air. The area for mail content is way too narrow.

Remove row lines in dark mode
Remove the row lines between messages. The spreadsheet look in dark mode is really bad.

New Yahoo inbox is appalling
The new Yahoo inbox is ugly, and difficult to read.
Why do you have to continually mess around with the look whilst fixing nothing else?
Why not give us the USERS the option to choose which look suits us best?
Stop messing us around!
Email is not a trivial part of modern life.
Stop ******* around with our lives you mindless idiots!
Predictably this "feedback" will have no effect and we will all be writing the same **** thing in a year's time when you morons have come up with something even worse.72nd ranked -
Easy on the eyes
Allow shading or another color on the whole line when it's new email. I'm old and it's very hard to decipher which is new and old email.

I don't like all the wasted space between the boxes in the new view.
Maybe compact view will be better, but I don't like seeing all the empty space between the boxes on the screen.

New Yahoo email format is horrible, middle preview / read window is so small
This new Yahoo email format is horrible. I can barely see an email in the middle window when I click on an email. It is so small. The far right window is completely useless and it takes up 1/4 of the entire email window. I understand the need for ads and have no problem with that to pay the bills but the middle preview / read email window needs to be readable and viewable, or this Yahoo new email format is useless to me.

The color scheme with purple and white is hideous
Let us choose a color other than purple, like the dark blue that was available, please

help the eye sort thru read and unread in the inbox
There needs to be a difference between read and unread email line backgrounds in inbox list of emails. Even a slight difference would help direct the eye to what you are looking for.

Shade every other line in the email inbox
I am not opposed to change. But there is something about this new system that makes it very hard to read through my list of emails. I've switched from light to dark mode and back. I've tried to put the block up to view my messages. Neither of those worked and there is nothing else to try. I think it's the way that they're spaced out down the list and all of the different symbols and boxes - the checkbox, the "mark as read" button, the symbol of the company/person who is emailing. All of those are so cluttering. And…

Get rid of the challenges. Pointless. Juvenile. Distracting.
The challenges are a distraction to those of us who just want to read our mail. I am not a six year old. I don't need a game associated with my email. Get rid of this feature.

too much blank space!
PLEASE change the layout of the new yahoo. I work on a 15" laptop, and the spacing of the inbox items and the preview pane means that I can only see 3 items in my inbox, and no content in the preview pane. I was able to choose old yahoo setup, but since that has been removed as an option, I will have to leave yahoo.
