There has to be a better way of checking comments.
I have had posts rejected and held for scrutiny for no reason at all. No bad words no threats not even any spelling or grammatical errors. Why can't I know what it is they have a problem with so I can fix it?

Proofreading would be good.
For instance, in the article I was reading about covid. You have a list of states/cases. Guam and Puerto Rico are not states. If you are going to list them oh, then you should say States and/or territories.

Here's an idea. Stop being little immature children scared of people's thoughts and opinions and TURN COMMENTING BACK ON. Trolls are trolls, it's a fact of life. Real people grow some thicker skin and ignore them. Turning off comments because you're afraid of what they might say is the COWARD'S WAY OUT.

Where's the "show less" option for news stories/publishers? I've started seeing unwanted news sources in my news feed. Used to be a way to stop those unwanted stories from cluttering up the news feed.

news about Asian hate crimes
You say you stand by and support anti-Asian attacks but yet when Yahoo reports an attack on Asians you only mention the race of the victim which of course is obviously Asian but have yet to mention the race of the attackers-practically all of the them by the way have been "Black". I am tri=racial-part Black reader and in case you were not aware Black people are also very capable of being racist. If the attackers were "White' they have and would be mentioned.. Sad!

Stop the censoring.
I post comments that say nothing derogatory against anyone or anything. Yet my comment is rejected as soon as I post it.
For example on an article about Biden and the $1400. stimulus check I posted
"Cut the drama...send us our money."
And INSTANTLY it was rejected.
When you do reject or revue a comment at least you can prove you're not a bunch of cowards and tell the person the reason...maybe a word or phase that you didn't like instead of JUST saying it didn't follow our guidelines.
