1. More different content!

   Good afternoon. I am reaching out because I am curious as to how it is decided what stories are available to read on Yahoo News? I ask this because there seem to be a surge of headlines related to Trump and politics and I was wondering if there is a way to see less of that and more stories readers can actually enjoy reading. I enjoy using Yahoo News to read the news but everyday I feel bomb-barded with the same story from different sources. Please help.

2. removing a media outlet

   More and more my Yahoo News page is flooded with Huffington Post articles. When investigating what they are reporting 89% of their print is false and misinformation. I was going to block them from my page, as I dont want to see misinformation in my news section. No where can I find where I can remove them. In this day and age where people are far more involved in finding out if information is correct of not, I would think Yahoo would be a bit more careful. Also give us the ability to block news outlets which turn out to be not news but opinion.

4. Fix message boards

   Yahoo is horrible, I've signed in a half a dozen times to comment on articles and it still doesn't show me as logged in.
   When I do get replies (notifications do not show anymore in little bell) you can't get to the response unless you scroll back through thousands of comments. Yahoo has really gone downhill.

5. Why does the news feed have so many stories of celebs in teeny bikinis? This is not news.

6. Explain why comments are rejected when following guidelines

   My comments are constantly rejected without rhyme or reason. I follow the guidelines and they are rejected without an explanation You need to explain exactly WHY a comment is rejected.
   The latest rejection was with regard to an article about Elon Musk and his pushing MAGA candidates and policies. My comment stated correctly that Musk was not elected and should not have the role or power he has in our government. Nothing there is false or offensive. Not a single reason for rejection and no explanation as to why. TELL us what causes our comments to be rejected when we follow the guidelines..

7. Get rid of AI reviewing moderators.

   Today i was responding to an article about Russia's reaction to tRUMP comment on Iran. There was an example of Russian deference using the surname of Assad (Bashar Assad, to be more specific). AI rejected the commented because *** was distinguishable in Assad. A moderator rejected the appeal because again *** appears in Assad. The comment was Russia would be no more likely to defend Iran any better than it did Assad's regime.

8. I sure hope there will be a way to make the background a bit less white color-wise. The glare causes more problems with blurry vision.

   I am used to having background that add color and style options, plus placing content in columns. I the bland background is to be the norm, I won't be around.

9. Update your comments policy and AI filter

   Just to beta test your platform, after having several innocuous comments rejected, I cut and pasted posts that had been up for a few hours, making relatively minor corrections, and those posts were rejected. I understand your desire to control speech on your platform, and have used Yahoo almost exclusively since it was introduced, it is very obvious that I have personally been blocked or flagged on your system. As a retired attorney and proponent of free speech, I find this particularly distressing especially as a 61 year old US citizen and resident. Pretty certain telephones are not used for disucssions but feel free to have someone contact me directly and personally at 909-374-4933.

11. Try being fair with your rejections. Your left leaning is very visible.

    Today I tried to post once and make 5 replies to comments posted on the article and all my attempts were rejected. It was ok for the others to post leftist appearing, in my opinion, replies or comments but when I tried to present the other sides view, rejected. I am going to see if maybe META can be investigated for censorship.

12. Fix email

    I use ad blocker for a reason so email no longer works right without turning off the ad blocker or upgrading service. I refuse to pay for any upgrade or to turn off the blocker. I have been with Yahoo since 1992. That said, I also have a Gmail account. Either give me the free upgrade or get rid of this ad blocker thing you have going on! Another thing, when you go to comments, you used to be able to go straight to any reply you had, that no longer works, fix that too!! A response would be nice as well.

16. why the censorship

    I don't see the need to remain a yahoo account holder if you refuse to allow me to post and comment. You say i cause trouble. Yet i continue to see posts harsher and blatant lies. I'll give you till the end of the week then i'm deleting this account i've had for approximately 20 years.

17. Fix emailed comment replies so clicking the link in the email actually brings one back to their original comment.

    When I make a comment and someone replies to it, I get email notification with a link to respond to the person in the string. The links never work correctly. Instead of bringing me to the comment in the string, it always goes back to the beginning of the comments page and I have to search through thousands of comments to find mine. This needs to be fixed.

    I have collected a series of photos of comments that have been rejected, the latest was a BI article "A Tiny US city paying people $50,0000 to move there..." My comment: Seems to be a good way to attract new residents. Hopefully this plan achieves the growth the town seeks.

    For couples dreaming of saying “I do” surrounded by falling waterfalls and luxury, Broadmoor Seven Falls offers an good option.
