Waivers - Customizable waiver processing time.
This will allow commissioners to choose when their league's waivers process. Currently, there is no option to change what time waivers run.

It‘s the dead of night for EST and CST players to make quick pickups while It‘s a fairly decent hour for Western and Mountain players. It‘s seems an obvious idea to process all waivers and run them all at the same time.11:00AM EST seems reasonable and fair to all.

Please allow us to set specific days and time to run the waiver wire. Sleeper does an amazing job at this, and I would love to see something similar in the Yahoo leagues I manage/play in.

Due to different time zones current free agency /waiver access benefits players on the West Coast. 3 am on East Coast when all Free Agents and Waiver updates become available.. East Coast all players are asleep any high end FA will be taken by the time Eastern players are awake... Can you make a time change where changes will be 12 noon Eastern / 9 am Western, this will give all players equal opportunity...

Please allow an option in leagues to set waivers to Wednesday night. All teams (other than Thursday night game) return to practice Wednesday. It gives fantasy players more clarity on injuries and depth charts to make better decisions rather than blindly throwing darts Tuesday night.

Not only that... a manager can cancel their waiver claim if they log in at 12 pacific time if they see another player they wanted doesn’t have a claim on them. That option should never exist.
No manager should ever know what player has a claim on them before waivers get processed. What kind of joke is that?

Hello,
Last year I emailed in asking for a Thursday morning bid run for FAAB bidding (instead of having to have the FAAB bids in on Tuesday nights). I was told that option would be added to yahoo FAAB options. It was not added. Now more than ever we need or want the wed night bidding to find out who our bids won on Thursday mornings. Can you please implement that options for this season and for all seasons to come.So to reiterate - we want and extra day to bid. We want to bid through wed night , see who we got thursday morning, and release all the players from waivers to free agents on thur morning.
please and thank you

This would be a great idea. Now i won’t sleep and could’ve already had my team available

Allow the commissioner to set what time waivers run. A 8pm waiver time would be a lot more exciting and wouldn’t make owners dread sleep to wake up to the fates. Also would allow for waiver parties.

Yeah, having this happen overnight gives an advantage to people in an earlier time zone who probably wake up earlier. Making this customizable will allow leagues to choose a time when everyone should be awake and have access to the site. Then it's a "fair" rush to free agent adds once the waiver period is over.

I am 100% sure you have that reversed. West coast has to get up at 3 AM to pick up players, while it is the east coast that can get up at 6 AM. I have this problem in my league and I live on the west coast. They should change the waiver time to 9 AM Pacific, because then it would be noon Eastern, and then no one has to be up in the middle of the night.

Totally agree. ESPN locks all FA until AFTER the waivers are processed. This is how it should be done!!!

Having them set to game time to Tuesday releases the waivers at 4:30AM ET, however Free agents are able to be picked up after 3AM before waiver go through. Please allow us to set a specific time this occurs.

Stop allowing the West Coast to have an advantage over the East Coast. The East Coast shouldn't have to get up at 3am to try and get FA before the waiver wire starts. Adjust the time so it makes it fair for everyone. The West Coast can pick up players and never loose their waiver spot at the top.

Espn can do this, why can’t yahoo? Get with the times

Yes. This needs to happen. I know ESPN allows this flexibility. There's outrage in my league with the inability to pickup players on Sunday morning before games, when news of injuries and suspensions drops out of no where. FAAB Continuous is the fairest way to give everyone the opportunity to pickup players, but there needs to be a way to process bids again at noon or so on Sunday.

It's probably because there's far less traffic at those times, which means Yahoo! doesn't risk their servers crashing due to heavy traffic concurrent with MAJOR calculations being processed for Waiver claims.

wish they would do something I'm getting tired of trying to get players who would help my team only to find they were given to someone else

Yeah, Love this idea. Commissioners should be able to set at what time the waiver period ends and FA begins. Right now some people in our league wake up at 4 AM to get first bids on free agents which seems unfair. Allowing to specify a time would work better for everyone.

As well there is a problem because not all players are made free agents at 3am. If a player was involved in a claim, but not ultimately claimed they are not made available until waivers are processed at random time later in the morning. All players should be released simultaneously and at the time the league chooses.

This won't happen for many reasons.
