Drafts - Custom mock drafts/Mock drafts to match league settings
These new mock drafts would allow you to customize the settings for a mock draft or have set the mock draft to match one of your league's settings. Currently we only offer the default settings for mock drafts.

Custom Mock Drafts are now available. On the Mock Draft page under Instant Mock Draft, click Practice Now next to one of your displayed leagues to conduct a mock draft based on your league's settings.

It would be cool if you could host your own mock draft, either you own every team in every position to make picks you thing will happen at every spot, or you make pick for one team, and every other team auto picks. With our keeper leagues, keepers cost a certain round draft pick, so for me to see who might be available when I draft, in a mock I would need to preassign certain players to certain draft slots. This would be unbelievably helpful for me in my keeper league.

Hey morons....there are plenty of people who like the 3 WR setup. I have been playing Fantasy for 37 years, before it was even called Fantasy Football. I hate PPR leagues....I don't understand why you want to reward someone for simply touching the ball. The number of times you carry the ball or catch the ball is meaningless in real football....it's all about scoring touchdowns. We give way too many points out in most leagues....I like the old fashion way....earn it. So in my opinion PPR leagues are ridiculous....I didn't like giving points for yardage but gave in. My original league back in 1978 only gave points for scoring touchdowns.....it was the most realistic of all games....we had scores more like 34-27 but there were higher scores but it felt more realistic. So stop whining about 3 WR leagues.....they're more realistic then a flex player or PPR. You have more teams using 3 WR's then 3 RB's on a play.

YOU ARE THE BIGGEST FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE IN THE WORLD AND YOU CAN'T FORMAT PPR MOCK DRAFTS ON YOUR SITE?? WHY??? IT'S NOT A NEW CONCEPT

Make the mock drafts have a flex position instead of 3 wr's, or at least give the option to do this. Nobody does 3 wr leagues anymore.

I am in 8 leagues this year. Only 1 has 3 wr's. In the league i'm I'm running I set the roster for 1qb,2rb,2wr,1 te, 2 wrt, 1 qwrt, 1 k, 1 def, 6 defensive players, 11 bench with 3 ir. half my players didnt have a clue about defense b/c it wasnt included on the mock drafts. mock drafts should be adjustable to the type of league roster your playing with.

Unless you play in a 10 team league or less, 3 WR is far too many. Change your stubborn mind yahoo. Long time fantasy football players would agree with me, Standard is Standard, Period.

I'm fine with the 3 WR format.

Yes. I hate getting players like Sproles in the third or fourth round of a mock knowing full well they would go in the second. Or 2 QB mocks too.

The draft seems to be able to detect when an owner is not present (there's an icon that shows autodraft). Just pick the player immediately.
If that's not possible, if the last pick used the full 90 seconds and defaulted to the list, set a flag that shortens the clock to 30 (15?) seconds unless the owner clicks the clock, adding back the remainder of the time. -

It should be an option, not mandatory. Sometimes I'll join a draft and it says "10 minutes". I stay in the waiting room, but leave my computer to go grab some food or something. I'd hate it if the draft auto-started when I thought I had more time...

If they aren't going to offer a variety of lineup choices in their mocks, it nice to have different websites specialize in different standards. If I'm in a 3-WR league, I do a mock on yahoo; if I'm in a flex league, I do a mock on espn.

Agree. It shouldn't be to hard to add a few leagues every mock cycle that are ppr.

I would love to see PPR with IDP as well. I have been running a league with both since 2003 and it is hard to judge the ranks without properly seeing where people rank in drafts.. well I can figure it out, but it does help.

There is only a very few sites that offer PPR Mock Drafts. This would greatly benefit my experience.

I couldn't agree more. You don't know how many times I've thought the same thing. Not having the league-type specified renders all mock drafts useless and inaccurate.

Totally disagree on this one. 90 seconds is a good amount of time. Occasionally you get stuck because the draft falls in a way you don't anticipate and you need to make some quick decisions and re-evaluate your plan.
I agree that some drafts are achingly slow when a particular team isn't present, but maybe Yahoo could default the user to 'auto pick' after two consecutive selections that 'time out' and default to the highest ranked player.

I agree to make the time get shorter if the person either drops out of the draft room or is just taking way too much time for all of the picks, it makes it slow way down. They seem to enjoy just taking way too much time like they just have no idea how to draft when you can join a mock draft and even tweak your own rank for players.

All my leagues play 3WR.. There is way too much depth not to have 3WR.. Flex sucks and should be kept for fun/no money leagues.
