[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Fantasy league message boards are no longer available but you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. Moving forward, we're investing in Fantasy Chat as the place for league communication and urge you to check out some of the recent improvements we've made like adding threading and pinning with polls coming soon.

Would love to get the message board back.

The chats are good for communication. The message boards were great for league votes, rules and information to be carried over year to year, and offline slow drafts were much easier in the message boards compared to the chat. Overall, there needs to be some way to store important information separately so it doesn't get lost over the year in all the league chatter.

Went from active Message Board year after year to non active Chat. Bring old message boards back. League was much more fun when using the old Message Board as opposed to New Chat. The harder you make it to communicate with each other the less communication there will be.
Our two leagues of 15-20+ years are considering moving to another platform.
Obviously you don't care about it. Too bad.

Bring back message boards!!! It makes league interaction better because you can share with and respond to the entire at once. Ever since Yahoo! went to chats (or just being able to email league), there has been ZERO interaction between managers in my two leagues that have been around for 10-20 years. It sucks!!!

Fantasy Football was a whole lot better "funwise" when it was active, now it just feels like i'm playing against bots.

Two fantasy drafts today failed to show me a "draft" tab, Both ended us as auto-drafts. Before that, the system worked fine for a month. Any suggestions? I have another draft on Wednesday. Please respond even your answer is "I don't know." Thanks, Kevin kevin.collins@swosu.edu

We conducted important polls on the message board last season (2023), and now they are not visible. The above post says historical message boards are visbible in my fantasy profile but they just aren’t. If I go back the league page from previous years, the message boards are visible, but not the 2023 season’s page. Does anyone know how to see my league’s 2023 message board??

As so many have written before and I anticipate will continue to write, due to you removing the message board option from laptop access, our fantasy league and all 16 teams that we've hosted at Yahoo! since 2008 have officially moved to ESPN for 2024.
That's 16 people who only go to Yahoo's website daily for fantasy football...and have done so since 2008. Whoever is making the decision to remove the message board needs to review these posts. If it's worth it to lose all of these website visitors, well...that's what happening even though our entire league would have preferred to stay with Yahoo.
If the message board returns, potentially, we will, too.

It is a necessary component to the game. it is necessary for use in the desktop site. Please bring back the old style message boards. No one like the new format.

Bring back the old style message boards. Haven't you read all the negative comments from last year? No one like the new message format, bring back the old style message board!

Is there a way to delete chat threads from old leagues? I have every chat thread ever for the past couple of years still.

I would like the option as commissioner to delete all previous years league chat and transactions. Would like to start the new year with a clean slate.

Bring back the message boards. The chat only function is complete garbage. We used the message boards for different threads, i.e voting on draft dates, league updates, holding polls, etc. Now everything is condensed into the chat and its very cumbersome. Either fix it or well move to another platform for our 20+ year FFL.

As of last season the message section worked out as a tool to hold discussions on issues encountered throughout the season. Now with the removal of messages, I am forced, as commissioner to write a Comish note which does not allow for responses, so I am dictating to a captured audience who can not respond. Next choice would be to email all my managers and play middle man to, in my case 11 other managers like a traffic cop in the center of an intersection where 11 streets intersect.

we used it for draft information, payouts, side pools, commish messages.any other league issue. They all stayed stored and had their own title for easy lookup.Much better then chat board

WOW I noticed a lot of yahoo customers are ****** off at this bad business decision. Let's all start posting on social media about this and see how many customers leave yahoo fantasy for other fantasy sponsored businesses. Poor business decisions usually kill departments in big companies like this.

This is not smart. What executive behind the desk thought of removing the message board? He should be fired. way to lose customers by not letting them connect and talk to each other during the season on the board and post things etc. I been with yahoo fantasy for a long time now. Thinking of leaving. I also have three other friends thinking of leaving they also run 10-man leagues. so that would be at least 30 customers leaving. Oh, and bad-mouthing yahoo fantasy. Sorry but not sorry. The dumb person behind this is the reason, did that person think they would save time and money?? Bad business choice.
