[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Fantasy league message boards are no longer available but you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. Moving forward, we're investing in Fantasy Chat as the place for league communication and urge you to check out some of the recent improvements we've made like adding threading and pinning with polls coming soon.
Check out the following post for additional improvements made to Fantasy Chat: https://bit.ly/3UQbvew

This is terrible idea, and one I consider a downgrade, not upgrade. As a commissioner,it has made baseball stressful and now have to deal with it for the other sports is infuriating!

Removing the message board is an awful upgrade. Commish's need to post things that need to stay in easy view, you cannot do that forcing everything into the chat.
Who at Yahoo thought this was a good idea? If I have no way to pin things or displays league messages My league will move to another site. This is horrible!

can we move the draft back to some time in August?

This is an awful "upgrade." No one in any league I was in used the chat function more than say 2x a year? Now, rule Proposals, explanations, voting, keeper assignments, etc. that were easily typed or cut & pasted into the message board now have to somehow be typed on my phone? No chance.

BRING BACK MESSAGE BOARDS. We use them for everything in our leagues.

how ironic is it that they are using a message board for complaints about removing a message board?

How about adding taxi squads for dynasty...you know something useful!
Removing smack talk and now message boards are not useful.

I have ran our fantasy league since 2007 here on Yahoo, and removing the message board has got to be the dumbest thing that I have seen to date! First, Smack Talk on individual matchups was removed (THIS ONE HURT), and then the poll option within the message board was removed (helpful for voting on changes for the following year), but now removing the message board outright makes it difficult for commissioners to relay important information regarding the league. I have messages that I post each year which include:
Introduction and Commitment
Draft order and other draft information
How FAB and Waivers work
How Trades work
Payout information for the year
Voting results for next year changes
Congratulatory messages to league winnersI am sure that Yahoo is trying to make server room, but the message board is essential for updating leagues on important information. I will now need to put all of this information on a 3rd party page which is not the end of the world, but it certainly is a HUGE step in the wrong direction Yahoo!

Please bring back the league message board - to many important league messages get lost in chat - or add a place for league votes / polls

PLEASE BRING BACK MESSAGE BOARD IMMEDIATELY. This is the worst update there has ever been to Yahoo fantasy. Message boards are vital for our league.
The league message board is critical for posting specific topics. A continuous chat is not desirable.
This is unacceptable. Bring back message board before the start of the 2023 season, this is the first time we have considered leaving Yahoo.

Please bring back the message board. It is an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY for our dynasty league. It was used to post league rules/updates, record-keeping, a general reference, polls, off-season trades, etc. After looking at the chat function, it will be impossible to organize any changes, updates, polls, etc. as it will be spammed by general "chats" during the drafts, trash-talking, off-topic conversation, and just a general lack of organization.

Wil Shorter commented
message board is critical to the operation of the league.
Yahoo functionality doesn't meet our needs, so we need the message board to manually operate the league...

I don't like the change. Wish you would have left the message board as is, it was great for posting important topics in your league. Fantasy chat is dumb, lame and not as formal as the message board. Very stupid idea on yahoo's part, it's the sort of stupid thing ESPN would do. Way to go to the genius who came up with this bright idea.

Just wanted to update my prior post now that Yahoo Football has been live for a week. There's a pretty decent chance we have to move our league to Fantrax because not having a message board is really going to limit our communication during both the season and off-season.
