Player Point Projections in Fantasy Football
I've been pretty put-off by the projection system this season. Just look at Matthew Golden. He's still projecting 12-13 PPR points per game, even though he's only had 2 targets each of the first two weeks. In past seasons, I would have expected to see this projection rapidly adjust downward. It's causing a big problem in my league already, where you have some managers trying to trade their players with these over-inflated projections, in effect allowing them to "sell high" on a player that actually isn't performing well. this ruins the ability of more casual players to use the "evaluate trade" tool.
