Your idea for making 0.1 per yard on kicks is a great idea but my league will not be happy if they get one point for a 10 yard kick. You should add feature than makes it have a minimum points. For example I would make it a minimum of three points, so a 10 yard is 3, 24 yard is still three but a 37 yarder is 3.7 points.
