Allow default opening setting in calendar
Allow a setting to have a choice on the view in which the calendar opens, The weekly default view is useless to me. I want it to default to opening with the month view. This is really annoying and seems like it should be a basic option to have.

Removing MyYahoo is a very bad idea
Been using MyYahoo for 25 years and I stay with Yahoo because of it, remove it and I'm gone, will move all mail to Google too. I've read a lot of feedback and I'm not alone. New version comically says its what I want, that's a flat-out lie, it's what Yahoo wants obviously, filled with more ads and content I don't want, but Yahoo wants to shove down our throats. Don't remove MyYahoo!

Your update changed the appearance of my calendar. Give me the option to permit or reject updates and list the apps affected. Stop being a dictator. I retired from software development and that area has the propensity to know what the end-user needs / wants. WRONG. MS dictates change. The USA is a democracy. I tried "new" My Yahoo and don't get it! It looks no different that other generic Home Pages. I've been with My Yahoo through its evolution for more than 2 decades. 12/25 Calendar reformat is a failure! GO BACK!
What happened to yahoo calendar? Dec.15,2025 my yahoo calendar changed format to a completely unrecognizable version of itself. It is essentially useless, let alone hideous. The new event window is one inch tall, and practically unusable. You can't scroll within a window that small. I've lost all my color coding of different calendars, and there is no visual difference between events marked as free or tentative. I have used yahoo calendar daily for over 30 years. This is a tragedy! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUT IT BACK! It is not functional this way!

I would like to know why I cannot sign in to my other accounts when I have used them recently since September.
I need those accounts to verify passwords and contact friends and relatives. I have already lost one non Yahoo account and will lose more if Yahoo does not let me into the accounts.This is beyond a joke now and I should be given an explanation.
