  1. New Yahoo BAAAADDDD IDEA!!! New platform presents ****. Don't scrap my.yahoo.

Your plan to scrap My.Yahoo is a BAAAADDDD!!! IDEA. It isn't broken, don't fix it. Enhance it wisely if you wish but the new one is TERRIBLE. I will have to find a new platform if you implement the "new" one.

  5. If its not broke, do not attempt to fix it!

Your notice that you are taking away the My Yahoo clearly indicates that you are more concerned with advertising dollars than your are about your customers. What is clear to me is that the people who do not want this change are speaking quite loudly. A lesson learned in business school stated that happy people will maybe interact with 5 others, and an unhappy person will tell 270 others. The numbers of individuals are overwhelmingly against you.... Wake up! This action will cause your users to decrease which will have a corresponding effect on a reduction in advertising exposure which…

  7. Removing MyYahoo is a very bad idea

Been using MyYahoo for 25 years and I stay with Yahoo because of it, remove it and I'm gone, will move all mail to Google too. I've read a lot of feedback and I'm not alone. New version comically says its what I want, that's a flat-out lie, it's what Yahoo wants obviously, filled with more ads and content I don't want, but Yahoo wants to shove down our throats. Don't remove MyYahoo!

  9. When "My Yahoo" goes, so do I!

I tried "new" My Yahoo and don't get it! It looks no different that other generic Home Pages. I've been with My Yahoo through its evolution for more than 2 decades. I like how the current My Yahoo lets ME decide what content I want to have there (in my case, stocks I want to follow, sports teams, etc). If that goes away, there's no point in staying with Yahoo. I'll be sorry to see you go, but someone decided that users don't know what they want as much as your content creators. Oh well... it was good run. I…

  11. No

No. Simply that, No. You did not ask us before you made this decision. This was decided unilaterally, and you truly do not care what we think. And, to add insult to injury, you give us this forum to tell you what we think. And then you will ignore it. So, we say to you, No. Simply that, No.

  13. Please Don't Take Away the My Yahoo Home Page!!

I'm very upset that my Home Page says that My Yahoo is going away! I love My Yahoo and being able to create my own background and choose my own apps to appear on my page. I also track the weather and the stock market there. I've used it for many years, along with Yahoo Mail. From what I'm reading in the Comments, I won't be happy with the "new" Yahoo. The old My Yahoo provides comfort for me in an otherwise chaotic computer world. Please don't take it away.

  15. Your idea of 'interesting' and mine are totally different

Your idea of "interesting" and mine are way different. There is no way to personalize the page to my liking.
Return the 'Add Content' , 'Choose Theme' , and 'Add Content' options.

  16. Changes to the new Yahoo! homepage

Well, you're certainly NOT making "My Yahoo" better by dictating what goes on the homepage, Yahoo!
I would love to have the ability to customize my "Homepage" theme, layout and content just like in my current "MyYahoo" page. It would also be great to have content options pertaining to my location.

  17. 2024 New My Yahoo Coming

I looked at the New My Yahoo and I hate it! It doesn't look like there is any way to customize it like the old My Yahoo. This is a major bummer. There are A LOT of things on the home page that I DO NOT care about seeing. How can I get rid of them? I am VERY disappointed in the proposed changes!

  20. "My Yahoo" needs to stay!

The customizable options in "My Yahoo" are what makes this feature unique and has kept me here this long. It has been my default homepage for 20+ years and its primary benefit is my ability to customize the content and links I prefer to have immediately available any time I log on. Take that away and it becomes just another clone of every other home page option out there, with no reason at all for me to continue using Yahoo over any other provider. Please rethink this stupid plan and leave My Yahoo as is!
