Since April 29 mid-day, multiple quotes are missing, that is, the symbol appears in the list but the quote field is blank, for example AC.TO, ACAD and AIMC. The list is long and includes the DJIA. Despite multiple screen refreshes (the quote might appear, but then disappears again) the problem remains. The missing quotes on the display screen are, of course, missing from the file downloads. Many quotes are there, but the list of missing quotes is long. EDIT: The Dow Jones (DJIA) continues to appear and disappear. I tried creating a new portfolio with both missing and appearing quotes, but the problem remains, there are many missing quotes and DJIA. EDIT 2: problem under Chrome and Firefox. Using Win10. EDIT 3: The missing quotes : ticker appears in black, rest of the lines displays no data. FINAL EDIT corrected: problem HAS NOT BEEN resolved by Yahoo! as issue has come back again.....
Dear Team Yahoo,
Is there actually anyone from Yahoo on here please? Can you at least confirm you are here and are looking at this?
Once again, do you have an update on a fix for this please? It has now been 3 months with the Portfolio Tool unusable.
Your help in urgently fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I first noticed this problem months ago and thought at first it was my computer that was the problem. I maintain 21 portfolios and some days they all export correctly, but in the past month, it seems that there are missing entries every day when I download the portfolios. What I have noticed is that it is the same stock symbols that are missing from a specific portfolio each time. This is a serious problem and it appears that it begins to happen only after the screen begins to repaint many times in a row. This sort of activity only happens on Yahoo Finance. I have tried using four (4) browsers (Edge, IE, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) on two different core I7 laptops with the exact same results of missing quotes. I therefore conclude that the problem is with Yahoo Finance and not browsers or laptops or operating systems.
Under review = head under blanket = head in sand = we don't care

Problem is for many other stocks e.g. most popular:
Missing many rows in Historical data section since Feb 21, 2020 to today all cells of table are empty (no values)
Yahoo finance is now not usable, missing many data, charts are incorrect!
See broken chart (straight line) here: https://i.ibb.co/yW7rwYs/broken-chart.png
BTW, what I don't understand is why there are so few complaints about this egregious faultiness. Are we who have posted about this among the very few suffering from it? I can't believe Yahoo isn't deluged with complaints. considering they're failing at providing the most basic element of a financial portfolio website - quotes.
I'd ask Yahoo this directly, but apparently they're "inspecting their bunker".
Ned - but the mobile app is a toy compared to the functions of the website. If you're telling me I'm mistaken - that the app now has the same depth of detail and personalization capabilities as the desktop app - please let me know.

This is an annoying issue - that I encounter as well.
I didn't see it mentioned earlier, though I may have missed it, but fwiw the mobile app doesn't have this problem (I use an android phone). All of the stock quotes in my portfolio appear fine on my phone - it's on my chrome browser devices where this has been a problem for a while.
Thanks for the speedy response yahoo
And here are missing quotes across multiple platforms from today 6/2: axas, bhge, cvi,et,mic, nbr, nfg, oas, ois, pten, shlx, thr, tot, wmb, ypf, cbre, dlr, els, eqix, fve, rexr, sbac, skt, spg, hymb, muc, vcv, ainv, gdo, ide, acc, axl, cma, dorm, osk, six, aee, dlr, evrg, fcx,fe,ncmi, ngg, nwn, ori,pg,ppl, rrd, rsg, sny, tef, tlsyy, viac,vz,wec,wm
And if anyone finds a suitable replacement for Yahoo portfolios, please let the gathered know.
The irony just dawned on me of the consistent banner above my increasingly defective portfolio lists that advertises a Premium Yahoo Finance service. Are you kidding me? I'm going to pay you when, over the last months, you've demonstrated apathy and incompetence regarding the most basic service of portfolios - quotes?
Here are the stock symbols whose quotes are missing today (5/30) - and are almost always missing - from just one of my 15 portfolios:
This is across Firefox and Chrome on my PC and Safari on my Macbook. Furthermore, my own inputs such as notes and prices are gone along with the quotes. And in the search bar above the web page, the stock symbols aren't recognized there by the system either.
Apparently, whoever is in charge of Yahoo portfolios thinks all of this is perfectly acceptable. If you run a website that professes to be a financial website, your website should be able to grab a simple quote for Verizon, and not shrug its shoulders and say "Wha-huh?"
Mr William J Green,
May I as what it is you did?!
Dear Team Yahoo,
Do you have an update on a fix for this please? It has been 2 months with the Portfolio Tool unusable.
Your help in urgently fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Hey Yahoo Finance,
I just wanted to Thank You so much for forcing me to do something I should have done a long time ago. I won't be bothering you any more.
One last thing.
It seems to me that you have a problem with sessions staying up for the ticker symbols that are coming and going.
Do you have circuits that are bouncing? I just wish you would do something to fix it. It's a big problem for those of us trying to use your product.
Two weeks have passed and I am again attempting to do my weekend financial updates. I see no change today versus what I saw two weeks ago.
Are you seriously looking into this problem or just giving us lip service. I would think this would be a serious enough problem that you would put some of your better folks on it and get it fixed asap.
I see symbols coming and going all during the week.
You Yahoo folks should try to be more concerned about supporting your products. What good is a portfolio of stock if half of them are not reporting the correct information?
I have the same problem across Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Many, many missing quotes, some taking all of my notes and entries with them, others with my entries intact but no quote provided. Some missing quotes can be obtained by entering the symbol in the search box on the portfolio page, while others send you to an entirely different quote. Too, a quote like FCX appears as it should in one portfolio, but won't load in another. Furthermore, some quotes are wildly inaccurate. And then...rarely...all quotes will load as they should. It is a MESS AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY. This isn't a leisure site; its a tool people use for their financial well-being. God help us if this continues through the next panic.
I have also reported this - the reply from Yahoo was to do the standard clear cache etc which I had already tried and it does not work.
I have tried using Edge and Chrome browsers on 2 different PC's and the error happens.
It is an intermittent problem which seems like some tickers go stale on the server. If you set up a portfolio with the following tickers you will see that after a while all except BDEV.L go stale. After a period of time they may come back.
Try a portfolio with BDEV.L, HSBA.L, SBSW, ANTO.L, SDRY.L
A debug from Microsoft Edge shows:
HTTP404: NOT FOUND - The server has not found anything matching the requested URI (Uniform Resource Identifier).
(XHR)GET - https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v7/finance/spark?symbols=ANTO.L&range=1d&interval=5m&indicators=close&includeTimestamps=false&includePrePost=false&corsDomain=uk.finance.yahoo.com&.tsrc=finance
Please help Yahoo, Portfolios is not usuable at the moment
Yeah, I can confirm I am seeing the same problem also. I have a whole lot of symbols in addition to what has been mentioned below. They are all over the place. Sometimes, they are reporting correctly and then the symbol goes invalid......not even seen as a legitimate symbol. It's just all over the place. It's really really bad. Can you imagine what it is like to post prices at the end of the week? My wife and I had to go to another site and get the prices of the ones that were not reporting. I would say there were between 50 & 75 symbols that were not reporting. It's a pretty big mess! You all need to figure out what is going on with your Price reporting. It is affecting the entire portfolio and everything associated with it. The Export Tool may be OK if you can fix this bigger issue.

I have created a portfolio with the missing quotes called MISSING QUOTES. There are 59 tickers which do not load consistently. The same tickers are missing in various portfolios I have. Always.
AC.TO, ACAD, AD.TO, AIMC, ALC.TO, AMP, AXL, BCE.TO, BHF, BMO.TO, CGO.TO, CJR-B.TO, CLDR, CNQ.TO, CPG.TO, CRAK, CSCO, CVS, DBI, DBX, DII-B.TO, EFX.TO, FEYE, FIH-U.TO, FLXN,GH,GPK,GRA.V,IOVA,JLL,KR,KXS.TO,LM,LNR.TO,MIC,MIRM,MRNA,MTW,NFLX,NTNX,OSB.TO,PD.TO,RTX,SAIL,SPB.TO,STML,SWAV,SYF,TD.TO,TFII.TO,TOT,TTD,UNH,USDCAD=X,VCTR,VII.TO,VOYA,VZ,WLK,YEXT
In the Index banner the DJIA will appear and disappear. When it is not there, I know right away that my ticker list is missing a lot of quotes until the DJIA reappears in the banner.
The 'unable to load portfolios' appears for a few seconds. I previously cleared cache and cookies to no avail.
When I do see the quotes showing up, I have to be quick in order to download. Many times I am not fast enough and the download is missing the quotes I listed above. Always the same ones.
May 7 11:39 : After further analysis, I have noted that some portfolios have missing quotes that are not in the list above , but are missing consistently per portfolio.
May 8 9:10: I just discovered that if I do a search for the missing quote on the Finance page, that you won't find the company and instead another ticker result is provided. I tried a few and it happens again and again.
