missing quotes
Since April 29 mid-day, multiple quotes are missing, that is, the symbol appears in the list but the quote field is blank, for example AC.TO, ACAD and AIMC. The list is long and includes the DJIA. Despite multiple screen refreshes (the quote might appear, but then disappears again) the problem remains. The missing quotes on the display screen are, of course, missing from the file downloads. Many quotes are there, but the list of missing quotes is long. EDIT: The Dow Jones (DJIA) continues to appear and disappear. I tried creating a new portfolio with both missing and appearing quotes, but the problem remains, there are many missing quotes and DJIA. EDIT 2: problem under Chrome and Firefox. Using Win10. EDIT 3: The missing quotes : ticker appears in black, rest of the lines displays no data. FINAL EDIT corrected: problem HAS NOT BEEN resolved by Yahoo! as issue has come back again.....

I get the same issue. It appears randomly for different tickers. Sometimes they appear, sometimes they disappear!

Mr Tim,
Just saw your post. I really don't come here much any more. It is a total waste of time.
What I did as a result of the complete lack of concern here is to totally revamp my approach to maintaining my financial portfolios. Yahoo Finance tools are no longer dependable. I can not work like that. I need them to work when I have the time to do my financial updates.
Check out Google Sheets.

Google Sheets will take some time to master and there is a learning curve involved; but, trust me it will be worth your time. Knowing Excel will be a big plus.
Good Luck!

Dear Team Yahoo,
Is there actually anyone from Yahoo on here please? Can you at least confirm you are here and are looking at this?
Once again, do you have an update on a fix for this please? It has now been 3 months with the Portfolio Tool unusable.
Your help in urgently fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks. -

I first noticed this problem months ago and thought at first it was my computer that was the problem. I maintain 21 portfolios and some days they all export correctly, but in the past month, it seems that there are missing entries every day when I download the portfolios. What I have noticed is that it is the same stock symbols that are missing from a specific portfolio each time. This is a serious problem and it appears that it begins to happen only after the screen begins to repaint many times in a row. This sort of activity only happens on Yahoo Finance. I have tried using four (4) browsers (Edge, IE, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) on two different core I7 laptops with the exact same results of missing quotes. I therefore conclude that the problem is with Yahoo Finance and not browsers or laptops or operating systems.

Problem is for many other stocks e.g. most popular:
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/SXRG.DE/history?p=SXRG.DE
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/SXR8.DE/history?p=SXR8.DE
Missing many rows in Historical data section since Feb 21, 2020 to today all cells of table are empty (no values)
Yahoo finance is now not usable, missing many data, charts are incorrect!

BTW, what I don't understand is why there are so few complaints about this egregious faultiness. Are we who have posted about this among the very few suffering from it? I can't believe Yahoo isn't deluged with complaints. considering they're failing at providing the most basic element of a financial portfolio website - quotes.
I'd ask Yahoo this directly, but apparently they're "inspecting their bunker".

Ned - but the mobile app is a toy compared to the functions of the website. If you're telling me I'm mistaken - that the app now has the same depth of detail and personalization capabilities as the desktop app - please let me know.

This is an annoying issue - that I encounter as well.
I didn't see it mentioned earlier, though I may have missed it, but fwiw the mobile app doesn't have this problem (I use an android phone). All of the stock quotes in my portfolio appear fine on my phone - it's on my chrome browser devices where this has been a problem for a while.
Thanks for the speedy response yahoo

And here are missing quotes across multiple platforms from today 6/2: axas, bhge, cvi,et,mic, nbr, nfg, oas, ois, pten, shlx, thr, tot, wmb, ypf, cbre, dlr, els, eqix, fve, rexr, sbac, skt, spg, hymb, muc, vcv, ainv, gdo, ide, acc, axl, cma, dorm, osk, six, aee, dlr, evrg, fcx,fe,ncmi, ngg, nwn, ori,pg,ppl, rrd, rsg, sny, tef, tlsyy, viac,vz,wec,wm
Hello? Anyone?

The irony just dawned on me of the consistent banner above my increasingly defective portfolio lists that advertises a Premium Yahoo Finance service. Are you kidding me? I'm going to pay you when, over the last months, you've demonstrated apathy and incompetence regarding the most basic service of portfolios - quotes?

Here are the stock symbols whose quotes are missing today (5/30) - and are almost always missing - from just one of my 15 portfolios:
aee,dlr,evrg,fcx,fe,ncmi,ngg,nwn,ori,pg,ppl,rrd,rsg,sny,tef,tlsyy,tot,viac,vz,wec,wm
This is across Firefox and Chrome on my PC and Safari on my Macbook. Furthermore, my own inputs such as notes and prices are gone along with the quotes. And in the search bar above the web page, the stock symbols aren't recognized there by the system either.
Apparently, whoever is in charge of Yahoo portfolios thinks all of this is perfectly acceptable. If you run a website that professes to be a financial website, your website should be able to grab a simple quote for Verizon, and not shrug its shoulders and say "Wha-huh?"

Hey Yahoo Finance,
I just wanted to Thank You so much for forcing me to do something I should have done a long time ago. I won't be bothering you any more.
Thanks again.

One last thing.
It seems to me that you have a problem with sessions staying up for the ticker symbols that are coming and going.
Do you have circuits that are bouncing? I just wish you would do something to fix it. It's a big problem for those of us trying to use your product.

Hello again!!
Two weeks have passed and I am again attempting to do my weekend financial updates. I see no change today versus what I saw two weeks ago.
Are you seriously looking into this problem or just giving us lip service. I would think this would be a serious enough problem that you would put some of your better folks on it and get it fixed asap.
I see symbols coming and going all during the week.
You Yahoo folks should try to be more concerned about supporting your products. What good is a portfolio of stock if half of them are not reporting the correct information?
