Bring back the old Yahoo Finance layout
new layout stinks and is difficult to read

Did Yahoo receive many complaints about the old stock summary page? I doubt that and see no reason for the new update that disorients users and removed about 50% of the information that I need to decide what to invest in.
Sites like Yahoo Finance are not normal sites, but "utilities". While updates are welcome, they should be minor and in response to a history of complaints or suggestions. If the goal is to drive users to other platforms then you have done a great job. If the goal is to give the site a modern makeover you have also a great job. However, when you update a utility with useless changes as far as the functionality and remove many useful elements, you have failed miserably.
You clearly don't understand your user base. I love that Yahoo is free and as such I put up some somethings that are annoying or don't work right. I for one would consider paying a small fee to have the site keep working as before, but as a paying member I would also like the chance to suggest improvements that I think make sense for many users.
I regularly report spam I find on the forums to make them more useful and to discourage the spammers. You should make use of your loyal users to help you.
I have other options and was just thinking about getting back into my Ameritrade account since they seem to give their users a lot of useful tools. Until now I have not really needed anything more complicated but you are increasing my interest in making a change.
Does anyone who reads this care and have the power to lobby what's in the best interest of the Yahoo Finance users? I fear that the corporate machine will roll on and ignore our pleas to "Help Us Help You!".

There is this new button "Follow". It automatically creates another portfolio called Following even if you add the stock to one of your existing portfolios. That's dumb. Take that off and go back to the old way where you could simply select a portfolio to add the stock to without automatically creating yet another portfolio of "following".
This is in addition to the lack of dividend information.
Also the news shows just a few items. You now have to click on News explicitly to get a bigger feed.
Just go back to the old summary page. It was far better.

Agreed. Information has been removed on these pages but they are on the Mobile App but not the new pages. Like Dividend Yield information, etc.

The new summary page is substantially substandard. Wonderful comments below. Please
heed them. -

New Yahoo.Finance/Quote page is harder to read , scan quickly, digest. Now missing ant features for dividend or yield and such smaller text. This was a pointless makeover

Some dim bulb took Dividend and Yield off the summary page. Please restore these important items. In fact, just restore the old format. Your new format does a disservice to the investing community.

Don't call yourself "Yahoo Finance" unless you provide basic financial info. Yahoo Useless would be more appropriate.

Previous Yahoo finance page was easier to see and to navigate.
Can we go back please?
Thanks. -

The new format provides substantially less information on the "Summary" page. What is the point? How is that an improvement? What was the objective of the change? It seems that it is designed primarily to force more clicks by making it less user-friendly. You may get more clicks per visit but I have to think you will have fewer visits, including mine, if you maintain the new format.
The Summary page was one of the very best at providing a concise summary about a stock - better than most brokerage firms and other finance news sites. Who decided to make it worse?

Get Back to Where You Once Was.
And where are the Ex-Dividends dates? Does this company have dividends? I can't tell now....
And how about upcoming Earnings dates? Yikes- change is tough sometimes...this is BRUTAL!
