Bring back the old Yahoo Finance layout
new layout stinks and is difficult to read

The older look allowed for me to see everything on the screen without having to scroll from left to right. It sure looks less dynamic and a downgrade

I forgot to mention as well that fonts are now too uniform in size, too small and lacking in highlighting and colour. I find myself hunting around for information instead of spotting it easily. I can't believe someone would ADD poor readability!

I can't believe the stupidity of these changes. Previously, the general market info was right at the top, perfectly visible and in a decent sized font. Now it's almost unreadable in the right hand box. Furthermore, the rest of the information and optional information in that box is redundant! Why would I want to see my portfolio information in two places at once? Most importantly, I set up My View to my specifications and now I can't see a number of the columns without scrolling. You should hire web designers who have their own Yahoo stock portfolios so they won't make such ridiculous mistakes! I am disgusted. This will have to change or I am gone.

You have taken a great site in both its uk and its us versions and have thrown it to the bin. It is freezing, not updating, unworkable for weeks now. You have promised to make it better, asking for patience. It is getting worse, not better, with MSEdge, Chrome, Firefox, all of them. I do not have the luxury of endless waiting and already looking for alternatives. Nothing comes close to what you had. A very sad - suicidal - story for Yahoo Finance

The previous finance page had a decent GUI and now it is just a page filled with useless data and news stories. Removing markets data from top of the page to the side of page is moronic.

The updated finance page is absolutely horrendous. Totally non intuitive. A cluster of garbage with almost no white space. I cannot find information with surfing through a maze of total garbage and news items I could care less about. No wonder Yahoo is Yahoo and Google is Google. Just so stupid.

No options to access the classic view.
The column of information on the right has taken up space for currencies. Currencies are now showing up to 2 decimals instead of more unless i click in.. Anyway we can choose to stay with the classic view? -

The right hand area of the new format is taking up the space of important information on my spreadsheet.Users should be given the option to have it there or somewhere else. This does not appear to be an improvement that actual users would want. It has to be functional for users and not for looking pretty from the designers' perspective. You need to do some user testing before implementation. Judging from users reaction, this has to be changed otherwise you will loose more users and not getting more new ones as we represent the general public that actually know how to use the information.

What are the best competitive sites? I find most aren't very good either.
How hard is it to make a good chart layout (?). Seriosuly this should be simple. Maybe they make them bad to try to get people to pay for them (?).
For now I can likely make due with this site, but its not an improvement currently.

So since you're sticking us with this failed re-design, allow me to do some due diligence for you so you don't make Apollo look like a clown show any more than you already have:
You add a note but it doesn't show up in the view; you can't add high and low limits; you CAN however add all three of the preceding to your view in case you like empty columns; having to scroll to the very bottom of the view to find a tiny slider to see your entire view - which is blocked by a column of information you may not want but can't eliminate - is ridiculous. That the entire view has not only been blocked, but could possibly be seen if not for the redesign's love of blank, utterly useless white space puts the clown's nose on the entire endeavour.
Maybe the for the next re-design you ask your users what they would like changed and whether your obviously non-user re-designers' ideas are good or bad. Basic stuff really.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! It's on the right side at the bottom of the frame they added which is useless.

I much prefer the previous formats but could you, at least, take the info on the right that is taking one third of the screen (market info box, top gainers, top losers...) and that is reducing the portfolio view, and move it to a single line on top of the portfolio like it was before? This way, when we look at our portfolio we will be able to see a higher number of columns without having to scroll to the right every time.
Thank you! -

Yeah this new format isn't good at all. The charts don't show nearly enough definition to show the peaks & valley's of the stocks (large declines during 2020 look like minor pullbacks). Volatility is everything and you need to see how high/low it goes. Waste of time to have to select narrow date ranges to see it. Advanced chart doesn't show the %'s. First chart is way too wide and not tall enough, distorting everything to make it useless. I believe some historical data has been removed (I like looking at charts long term, especially for indexes). Please just go back, it worked perfectly fine.
