Cannot search symbols
When I enter a symbol in search a different company or symbol comes up. This started last week and I thought you would have it fixed by now. It makes your web page impossible to use.

New format is NOT user friendly. Poorly designed to have a quick view of what the stock market a and stocks are doing. I am sure Yahoo has had an extreme amount of negative feed back on this new format. Please make the option to revert to the "original" finance screen MORE easily available rather than hiding it at the very bottom on the page which is kinda cheezy. Screen shot show the USER FRIENDLY page

I've seen this problem several times. The only thing to do is keep entering the symbol you want and the error eventually fixes itself.

In the past I had to pause a little to allow the company or ticker entered to populate... today it is not populating at all. I attempted in chrome and also edge after clearing cache and closing all browsers. Issue remains.

Frequently, the symbol lookup just stops working. And if I click on one of my saved portfolio symbols it redirects to the lookup page - e.g., https://finance.yahoo.com/lookup. Selecting any symbol in that list does nothing...

Yeah the search box is buggy. For example, type in the exact ticker and it shows search results for completely different companies.
I had been experiencing this problem on Yahoo Weather a few months ago when searching for locations. Now it's on Yahoo Finance.
