Mail delay
Mail delay. Don't receive email for hours and then suddenly backlog of hours of messages will arrive. Please fix this.

You should add the option on Yahoo! Mail to report phishing scams like they have on microsoft hotmail! They have the option on there to report phishing scams in the junk mail folder. You should add the option to report phishing scams in the spam folder on Yahoo! Mail!

I know my old email address, but the recovery email is no longer active. How can I get access to my old email address please?
I know my old Yahoo email address. Id like to start using that again. The recovery email it is asking for is no longer active, it is a Hotmail account that I cancelled years ago. How can I get access to this Yahoo email again please?

Keep in mind that Yahoo deactivates accounts that haven’t been signed into at least once in the last 12 months. Once the account has been deactivated it’s unlikely you can recover it. You can always sign up for a new Yahoo account, but your old Yahoo ID may not be available for you to use.

"Auto generated card visible only to you" blocks the message block of the email
When I'm composing an email, an "auto generated card visible only to you" comes up and obscures the email that I'm writing. Please how can I turn this feature off? It's a real hassle.

How long emails stay in trash.
I may have deleted an email that contained important information. I don't know, because I can't tell how long it is until my trash folder gets cleared. I would very much like to change this in settings. For example, I would set it to delete emails after they've been in there for a month, so if it takes me a few weeks to realise I've deleted an important email, I can still get it back.
By default, both the Trash and Spam folders empty automatically to keep your account tidy. You cannot change the Trash and Spam settings.
Trash deletion frequency – Trash is deleted after 7 days.
Spam deletion frequency – Spam is deleted after 30 days. -
I received two emails saying that they are from Yahoo Team and says that I will not receive any emails if I will not upgrade my email.
Is it true that Yahoo will be upgrading and if I didn't upgrade, I will no longer receive emails?
Those emails are most probably scannings. Mark them as spam and make sure you are not clicking on any links.

I have tried to reinstate a blocked contact but this option no longer appears under settings menu. very dissappointing.
Please reinstate blocked email addresses confirm/ non confirm within the settings menu.
in order to unblock a user, click on Settings > More Settings > Security and privacy and next to the blocked email address tap the Trash icon.

Allow me to use (and save) my password to access e-Mail. Sending me a notification requiring me to respond "Yes" on a Yahoo app on my phone is not working nor is it convenient

Yahoo is officially the worst mail system in the country. No features and not even a tool bar! NO choices. NO information on it. Get us back to your original mail or you will lose a LOT of clients ! So will Frontier lose server business since they use your mail for their host.

Send me to my mail after I sign in, not to the news.
When you sign in, make sure you type mail.yahoo.com to be sent directly to your mailbox.

Stop all this verification, once ok, twice annoying three times getting beyond a joke ... Having to have a second account to receive a code or go look for a message on my phone. They are only email messages!!!

Yahoo deactivates accounts that haven’t been signed into at least once in the last 12 months. Once the account has been deactivated it’s unlikely you can recover it. You can always sign up for a new Yahoo account, just keep in mind that your old Yahoo ID may not be available for you to use.

The new email buffers forever, has delayed reactions when clicking on a box to delete or read an email. It seems to get slower.
Just leave the email alone and go back to Classic Email.
