Yahoo fails to let me perform a usable method to search.
I need the ability to right click an email and open.
This way I can review multiple e-mails side by side. -

0. Do need right click menu for emails under the mouse pointer back sooner than later. I used that a lot for to avoid time and clicks wasting, like marking emails as read/unread as several other post said here before [0].
1. Allow right click menu to be used for marking emails as read / unread.
2. I would prefer to leave the keyboard shortcuts for marking emails as read/unread as they were before.
K: mark as read.
Shift K: mar as unread.Thanks,

Falling on deaf ears. I requested this over a year ago when they first announced the new mail and refused to upgrade until they fixed this and they still haven't. Really a shame - from a Yahoo subscriber since the early 2000s before Gmail existed - I've started migrating all my mail to Gmail, but really don't want Google to have a monopoly and prefer to have a competitor for backup mail account, but Yahoo is failing badly.

Really annoying having to go to the menus to mark messages etc. Please bring back the functionality.

No longer able to mark unread, delete, move, reply or forward using right click

I have been asking for this functionality to be returned, too, but no one at Yahoo seems to be listening. What is the point of an "upgrade" to a new version, which takes away functionality?

I want to go back to the old email inbox. The new one doesn't let me right click emails to mark them as unread or move them. I'm very disappointed.

This is poor design. Forces you to be inefficient.

They force you to upgrade to the new version by the end of the month and still no right-click. Hire some UX designers or take a UX survey. If you make it hard to use, people won't use it and your product will die! Fix this already or are you waiting for a buyout from Google??? At least if you fix this, you'll have a higher share value than if you don't...

Really? Having to wait until there are enough votes before this simply-fixed issue is resolved. Come on Yahoo, please don't act like yahoos and put off this fix.

Feedback on restoring the right click menu options for email messages in the "new" version date back to Nov. of last year. Yahoo Development, please respond to this comment on the status of either reintroducing right click menu options or not.
Thank you. -

Why did you remove the contextual menu that used to come up when we right-click a message? Virtually every program (not just email) supports right-clicking a file/folder or other object to access a contextual menu of commands. In the case of Yahoo Mail, the ability to quickly and easily Mark as Read/Unread, or Delete or Move via the right click was handy and necessary and yet you have removed it. I really wonder what goes through your minds sometimes. You have removed a number of useful features over the years and to this day, I still wonder why, still miss them. Now here's another one :(

You should be able to right click and mark as read or other actions

I agree. This is so frustrating. It was far more efficient to be able to right click to get to these functions.
And ya, what happened to the auto-spellcheck (underline mispelled words)?

Yes - I second (third, fourth, ...nth) the request by the many preceding users. Please restore the functionality of right-clicking on an email in the main list window. Thanks!!

seriously, why change what is working? Radio Shack micromanaged themselves out of business. Will Yahoo do the same?
