How can we improve New Mail?

    Add a new email counter not only to the Spam folder, but the Trash folder as well. It took me forever to discover I was missing emails that got delivered to those folders instead of inbox since there was no indication in the side menu that new mails were there.

    My email from someone I need to be in touch with on an almost daily basis now goes to my spam folder. How do I undo this?

    AGREED! Just saw your feedback and it made me realize I haven't seen a count indicator for SPAM in a while, and sure enough, emails from my daughter's teacher have been going in there, wonder how many auto deleted that I didn't know about!

    There is a Responded answer from Yahoo that if you mouse over the folder name, the number will appear. I tried that and it works, but why not just display the number where it belongs ?????

    Often find that 'sent' mails are not placed in the 'sent' list and cannot be re-read or repaired. Have you fired all baby-boomers, so's only quick'n easy buggers remained. Who am I writing anyway, Frits Kaal (66)

    Seriously. Especially if you're going to send mail that ISN'T spam to my spam folder, and empty my folder with no warning!

    Please tell there is spam. You have streamlined things too much for practical use. Don't you need us? You appear to have millions of "subscribers" but in reality they have just left you and you don't know it. The youngers are not using yahoo, and you are doing a lousey job of servicing your olders.

    I do not know if and when I have spam in the folder. There is no longer a notification. I would like to know if I have any at all otherwise I am ignoring it. Sometimes real mail is actually in there. Also, I did notice an increase in the amount of Spam i am receiving.

    Please indicate somehow that there are mails in the spam folder.Missed important emails because of that. Show a number count.

    I agree - give number of unread emails in spam folder as you do for other folders, and as you used to do. I also have missed important emails that were financially significant.

    At the very least, put the trash can next to the Spam folder if there's anything in it. (this works well on the iPhone app for Yahoo mail)

    I actually switched back to the old view because of this
