    Because of there being no number next to the spam folder, I've missed a couple important e-mails that were time sensitive. They were sent to spam, but because I didn't see a number I assumed the folder was empty.

    This is not just about spam or trash. Please show total unread emails in all folders (and not just inbox) against particular account as was the case with previous UI.

    The old email format showed that there was emails in the spam folder. The new version does not do this. It is very annoying to have to check spam periodically for emails. Please fix this! Few people have already pointed out this missing feature. I have commented and voted on those previous posts, but no one from yahoo seems to be competent enough to use their own webmail service, otherwise they would have noticed that the new version DOES NOT show if there are any and how many emails are in the spam folder. Every other folder has a badge counter, except for spam!!! WHY??? why one has to check the spam folder manually every time they want to make sure nothing legitimate has ended up in there??? The spam badge counter was in EVERY PREVIOUS version of yahoo mail. So WHY ON EARTH someone decided to remove it is beyond me... . The number or even notification of spam - is urgent - I lost an important piece of email that was time sensitive cause who has time to check spam with no number? WHY would this have been changed? BETTER to be able to see at a glance if there are any emails in the spam folder. I do NOT understand programmers....

    My spam filter is working too well! I am getting legitimate emails going to spam. Even from senders that I open on a regular basis. Can Yahoo look into this please? It's quite annoying having to go searching through my spam filter on a regular basis.

    Been getting lots of spam from addresses that start as "news@email..." Yahoo hasn't caught on that this is all spam to block. They insist that I go into filters and block them one by one, with no capability of identifying them en masse.

    old version showed a number of spam emails in brackets. This is not the case in the newer version. Either it should be available or have the option to enable in settings.

    And it is inconsistent with other folder's style where the count of unread/new emails is shown so that we know that there is something new to check.

    Incidentally, I was under the impression that there are no spam emails. For some reason, I went to the mobile site and there I see the count showing around 100+ emails sitting there!

    Used to be that there was a number by SPAM so you knew there was new SPAM in the folder. What happened? Will you be bringing that feature back? It's needed.

    I delete emails that I can't use at the moment. Your system is then putting that sender into the Spam Folder. That is NO GOOD. I will want to again receive these when I can use them. Now I have to search for them in the Spam Folder put them back into the Inbox to insure I get them again. Very time consuming and never should happen, I want them Deleted not marked as Spam.

    No number count shown for SPAM! Thought I had none but had 100! Didn't know you were not going to show number of SPAM and TRASH!

    I have no idea if there are messages lingering in the Spam or Deleted folders as you don't show a count. Very frustrating to guess.

    New yahoo mail deleted displaying number of emails in each folder. Please include this option checkbox under Settings.

    Where is the counter for the Spam folder? I have to waste time opening the folder to see if I have anything in it. Makes no sense why you took the number away beside the folder. Please bring it back.

    Spam folder lost its counter, so I have no idea if there is spam there (or missdirected non-spam) unless I click on it.

    Why is there no longer a count for my spam folder?
    I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO OPEN THE FOLDER JUST TO SEE IF THERE IS ANYTHING IN MY SPAM FOLDER!!

    Yahoo CLAIMS that moving the curser over the folder shows the count, which, BY THE WAY DOESN'T ACTUALLY WORK MOST OF THE TIME!

    I want THE COUNT REINSTATED please!

    I hate spams. I average 20 to 45 emails everyday. I don't know how to get rid of it.
