Please indicate if there are emails in spam! I almost missed paying a bill on time because it was in spam and I did not notice it!

SPAM used to show how many emails were in your spam folder (as it does with INBOX), so that you knew that there were unread items there. It made me consciously check my spam folder prior to it being automatically deleted. Now that it doesn't show it, I forget to check it. Please put it back. Thanks!

Hello, before to open the spam box, in the round little icon on the left handside, there is no indication about the number of undesirable unread mails.

Old spam folder used to show how many messages I had but now it doesn't. I try to check my spam daily because some valid messages get directed there. If the number of spam messages doesn't show it looks as if there is nothing in spam folder. Give some instructions on how to show the number of messages.

I liked the old system, where the number of items in the spam file was on the menu, instead of having to open the spam file to get that number

I don't see a number amount of how many Spam messages I have anymore either! Consequently, I missed a time-sensitive contract job offer, and a password change request. 'VERY upset! What a nightmare; not to mention losing out on thousands of dollars because of your glitch! (The Trash message amount doesn't show up either).

The spam folder no longer shows how many emails are in it unless you hover over it. I need for it to show like it used to; I didn't realize this had changed, I check it regularly to make sure something isn't spam has been sent there. The way it's been changed makes it harder for me to stay on top of things.

When there's no number next to my spam folder, it makes me think I have no spam. The old version would put a number next to the spam folder letting me know that I have spam. A time sensitive email was sent to me and was placed in the spam folder. I missed the deadline on this email!!! I didn't know it was in spam!!! If there was a number next to the spam folder, I would know to check that folder to see what emails ended up there. Please put numbers next to the spam folder so I know that I have emails sent to spam!!!

Why aren't the number of new spams displayed beside the Spam folder name like before the upgrade?

Limited time - need to know if spam needs visit and since mail is marked correct time in & out - I don't need the extra clicks of time zone changed.

Yes please, esp for the spam folder. If there's no number there, I don't think to look for mail there. Recently I found three important emails in spam - a MONTH LATER - because I didn't realize that message count icon had gone away in the recent upgrade.

YES YES! Either the number of messages OR make the Spam listing bolded (or something) to show that it's not empty. REALLY need this as a reminder to go to the Spam folder to empty it. You've always had an indicator on the Spam folder, so we're conditioned to know, at a glance, if we need to open the folder.

We used to know when we received spam, and could check the box frequently for incorrectly labeled emails. Now, there is nothing to say the spam box contains emails. When you finally think to check, there are 100s there to sort through. It's not an infallible enough categorization program to trust what emails get placed there. Legit emails can still be occasionally found.there. Who wants to carefully scrutinize 100s of emails for potentially one misplaced email?
Better to notify users there are emails in the box. It can be far better managed that way. Doesn't it save you space if the box is more frequently emptied?
