How can we improve New Mail?

    I did not notice my hundreds of spam due to missing counter on the right side of the folder. Please bring it back. thanks

    1. The number count against spam mail is missing. In old mail we can see the count and decide to open to see any wanted mail being there by mistake. Keep the count on.
    2.While opening contacts it first opens mail in another tab and then opens contacts with a delay. Want to open contacts directly like old one.

    I agree that there should be a quantity of spam in the folder so that you know you have Spam --- like Classic Mail had. The reason I like this is that occasionally legit email gets flagged as spam and moved to the folder. Because I do not see a quantity, like I used to, I overlook checking the Spam folder for days so that when I do look in it, I have to scroll through hundreds of emails before doing "housekeeping". Thank you.

    This is an important feature. After forgetting about my spam folder for a couple of weeks, I checked it and there were two important emails that should not have been put in that folder. When the number was there, I knew when I should check for new spam. Very annoying not to have it there.

    I agree with this request. I'd like to see the count of spam in the folder to help remind me to glance through it and then delete. Thanks!

    Let the amount of email number show in the list of Inbox, Spam, and Trash folders like it used too

    Provide the number of unread emails for the spam folder. This was in the old mail is very helpful. This helps me know to check the folder. Messages that I need are sometimes routed to the Spam folder. When I check my mail, that number tells me something came in and I need to check and see if it something I need.

    Spam should show indication of messages.

    Just because it doesn't show a number doesn't mean they're empty. I thought maybe Yahoo finally found a way to block scam emails, then I thought yeah right, Yahoo can barely keep their own sites running. So I checked it. Had nearly 600 spam emails. Yet according to the folder icon it was empty. So put the number of spam emails back on the folder.

    I can not find "trash: or spam" in my yahoo mail. Once I delete some emails and wanted to retrace them, there is nowhere, no "trash" to pull the mail out. Why is it like this? Is this new service or punishment for not letting you put more adds in my mail box?

    I prefer the line delete trash can on the left of the line where it used to be.

    i would like my old version back i don't have the trash or spam on the new one sometimes i get emails that got to spam can i just get the old mail back

    After a long running slanging match with a bunch of Yahoo geeks who wouldn't admit that they had changed anything, I finally got one who said post something in here and maybe they'll get round to fixing it. Don't hold your breath on that one.
