How can we improve New Mail?

    Display number in SPAM folder again.
    The "new" yahoo is like yahoo of yesteryear.
    What is "old" is "new" again ...

    Please DO NOT send my email to SPAM folder. Unfortunately you send my post to spam-folder and spam folder to my Email. Please do not do that. Thanks

    The spam folder does not show the number of emails in the folder...like the inbox does. You could have an email in spam that shouldn't be, but you wouldn't know unless you clicked the spam folder versus looking to see (by a number showing) whether there were any emails in there to begin with.

    I agree completely..Often emails from legitimate senders end up in Spam so its helpful to see the count next to the Spam folder entry

    I don't have a spam folder but need one to check for mail that went there that might be important. How do I access spam if there is no icon for it? Also, why is it I can spam a hundred pieces of junk mail a week and it keeps coming back.

    restore the displaying of the email count for SPAM & Trash. Currently you can't tell if there is anything in these 2 folders unless you select them.

    Agreed. Helps me keep track and avoid inadvertent categorizing of messages as trash or spam.

    Please restore the number on the spam folder so we can tell when we have items in that folder.

    I too would like to see how many items there are in the trash and spam folders.

    I would like to be able to see the number of emails in my Spam folder as well. Without hovering or going in there. This is important because I regularly check whether any important emails inadvertently ended up in Spam.

    I agree. I like seeing the numbers listed just so it reminds me to delete them.

    The Spam folder no longer shows if there is any mail in it, so I forget to check it and don't see if any legitimate mail has accidentally ended up in it.

    Please have Spam and Trash folders show count of unread messages, or otherwise some indication that there is new mail there. And if a message has been received multiple times from a sender in the Inbox, do not then have the algorithm arbitrarily send it to Spam.
