Please indicate if there are emails in spam! I almost missed paying a bill on time because it was in spam and I did not notice it!

At least for spam! I check spam every day since sometimes a good message gets delivered there. A count of spam reminds me to keep on top of it.

I don't like not knowing if there is spam in the spam folder or trash in the trash folder. The old email also kept track of the line in your email folder. I get a LOT of email and knowing where I was as I work through the windows I have open was very helpful. I liked the old mail much better.

How come the number of items do not show up any more in the spam and trash folders? No numbers of the amounts are showing up next to these folders.

Spam and Trash - In fact all folders - need to indicate when new/unread mail is in them like it used to before.

Need to know when Spam & Trash folders receive NEW messages! Still getting used to this new email, but had situation with VERY important emails sitting in SPAM and I didn't know because I was used to these folders being visible without having to click on anything AND the fact that there was NO INDICATOR (like a BOLD number) to alert me. Not good.

If you click "More" just above "Views" you'll see the Spam and Trash folders. Frankly, I like that they are hidden unless you want to look at them so the list takes up less space. If you mouse over the Spam and Trash folder you will see the number of emails in each so you don't need a number beside the folders. It works the same for most of the folders. To the person who wants all the emails to go to the Inbox, are you crazy? You may not get a lot of spam emails but I do and I definitely wouldn't want to go back to the days when all that garbage made it into my Inbox and I had to manually clean it out. I'm very happy to have the odd non-spam email get put into the Spam folder and have to mark it as not spam than clean out the thousands of spam emails that I regularly receive.

Initially (classic version) you have displayed a number of mails in spam and deleted folder, but in newer version its not. I think it should

I get very little spam (which is great!) but sometimes legitimate group emails go into spam so I do want to see the number of unread emails in the spam folder. Personally I don't care about trash as I put them there myself...

Spam folder needs to have the item count similar to how the inbox has an item count.

I want the number back for SPAM. Every once in a while I get a wanted email in the SPAM and I want to be reminded to check it for wanted emails. Without a number there, I have to remember to check it... I don't like that.
