Please indicate if there are emails in spam! I almost missed paying a bill on time because it was in spam and I did not notice it!

In spam I did not get a notification (counter next of spam box. So I was waiting for a password retrieval. Firstly it should be in inbox arrived but arrived in spam, which wasn't on the counter. Such mustn't happen.

Why do the folders no longer indicate the number of E-mails contained within? As I scroll through the ideas list, I see a lot of people asking that the number of E-mails in each folder be restored. I relied on this information continuously and would like to know why this information was eliminated with the new enhancement?

There needs to be a counter on each box for mail unread. Having this on the Spam folder rememinds me to check it to see if something went there by mistake.

I agree go back to showing how many emails are in the spam folder. I should not have to go into the folder to see how many are there.

Even when there is unread spam in the Spam folder, there is no indication of it. With the old mail interface there was a number indicating how many spam messages had accumulated.

You have to mouse over the Spam and Trash folders to see how many items are inside. Blah. No good. Having these numbers displayed automatcially (in the classic version) helped me remember to review/empty these items. Mousing over is not helpful, because I forget to do it, and then the folders fill up. By the time I remember to check, the folders are so full, it takes a long time to review all the Spam messages for possible legit messages.

I'm so angry. Email that were not spam for years suddenly started going to the Spam folder without my knowledge for weeks before I realized what was happening. My biggest peeve is having to hover over stuff to get more information. Out of sight is out of mind. Yahoo shows how many unread messages are in other folders, and used to include Spam. Why this unnecessary, annoying change? I only hope I didn't have any important messages deleted from the new Spam folder before I could review them.

While I appreciate the attempt to keep my inbox clutter-free, having emails from senders randomly appear in EITHER my Inbox OR my Spam folder is confusing. The exact same email address goes to either one or the other. I mark the sender's emails as Not Spam, and yet they still randomly go to the Spam folder instead. At least show me a counter so I know to check my Spam folder, please. I would rather not have to, because I get really vulgar and inappropriate spam, but the simple fact is I have to, because non-spam is going there far too often.

There used to be a number next to the spam folder, showing how many were unread. I used it to remind me to empty the spam regularly. It meant that when an email I actually wanted turned up there, I knew and could find it. Now, I forget to empty the folder, and when I need something from it, it's mixed in with about a hundred spam emails, and really hard to find.
Please bring back that little number, or at least an empty / not empty flag.

spam needs to have the amount, like the inbox and drafts
