These new themes are not attractive!!! There should be theme that are stimulating and inspirational. Themes like nature, geography, landscape, astronomy and other subjects.

    The entire background should be a light pastel. Not stark white or some color. There is just too much strain on the eyes with this new mail no matter what I try.

    Hate themes! Need more of them or let us use our pictures. Give us old format with new upgrades!

    PLEASE include a theme choice for a colored/pastel background with black lettering as with basic mail. White lettering hurts eyes - too bright and can"t really distinguish highlighted-mails! Also the white backgrounds are too bright! - hurt eyes. Poor choices made for all of these new themes!!! Dark letters on a pastel background is a most preferred choice.

    Please offer more themes and background options. Actual pictures and drawings would be better than the cartoon drawings you currently have.

    Give us the option to retain the old Themes with the none blurry letters and the easy to read format that we are all now accustomed to. The new Theme format is more difficult to read. OR give us the option to retain Classical email format. Thanks

    Hi! i understand that everything eventually has to change. There are a few things i miss from the old email set up. The themes aren't interesting or colorful. i assume that's something that will change? The old emoticons were better. Many of them were animated. Also, when i create an email, any animated smileys or gifs i insert just sit there with no movement. Those are my only real complaints. Thanks

    The new Yahoo themes/backgrounds are ugly. Why can't you bring the old themes to your new 'upgraded' inbox?

    If I don't have a choice in the matter, I would appreciate to at least maintain my inbox's custom appearance, I chose the old-school black and green "Console" option for email.

    Give me back the old emal. This one is glaring, jarring, and no matter what color I choose, it's ugly. I like the subtle smooth nature of the old email.

    Agree! Why can Thunderbird have a zillion themes and yahoo only a few ugly ones?

    I dont like the new format either,I like were I was able to add my own picture for a theme, very unhappy with it, I was able to before, and the and hate the mail part all white

    I liked the former Classic Theme and cloud Background. The new choices are all hideous colors and childish themes and backgrounds - nothing there is appealing or easy to read over at all

    Have you seen the themes of the new version?? How can it be so basic themes for a new version when there was some nice photos on the last? I don't understand this regression? Why??

    The old themes were more attractive, the old homepage backgrounds were less intrusive. please make things the way they used to be or allow us to upload our own pictures!!

    There's no black themes!!! Plus I hate that all mails from trash folder delete automatically! WHO ASKED YOU FOR THIS?!!!!!!!

    I would appreciate going back to the old setting. The white background is hard to read and can't copy multiple messages to an email

    Get rid of awful THEMES... we are well past the 60s & 70s colour schemes!
