Small ads on the side would be fine but you put phishing ads and shady stuff out there. You should be ashamed.

Every time I open my email I get the whitelist notification and I have already whitelisted yahoo.

Get rid of the "whitelist yahoo mail" popup that keeps popping up, please. It's annoying, and I am NOT going to whitelist you. We get tired of ads that are just plain disruptive, and not only that, get tired of sites like Forbes.com FORCING us to deal with them with their adblock detectors. Are you going to become one of those??
If you want to make money Yahoo, GET A JOBBY JOB LIKE THE REST OF US, and get a better business model while you are at it.

I agree. they keep telling me to white list them but they can go suck an egg. I don't white list anyone that I know has ads even if it's a site I support. The quality of the email is getting as bad as the quality of the one sided "news" they claim to be reporting.

STOP suggesting that we allow ads on Mail. WE HATE ADS! I installed an ad blocker for a reason! DEAL WITH IT.

My e-mail is for my use. If my Ad Blocker is preventing me from getting my correspondence, then MAYBE you should stop allowing ads!

Here's an IDEA: Stop being such HATE-filled liberal extremist whacko IDIOTS. Ur groupthink only exposes how ******** u all are - and how pathetic our so-called "educational" system is. I only tolerate the email service because it's free - and I run adblocker plus so I don't see ur BS ads and other GARBAGE. So there u douchebag toolbag useless idiots. I VERY quickly scan your "news" topics every day before I login to my emails, and EVERY FRIGGIN topic is attempting to slander anything not liberal!! U and ur propaganda SUCK donkey dongs.

Hi,
Yeah about your "whitelist" message, go **** yourselves. I pay for television and I still see advertisements. I pay for internet and I still see advertisements. I pay for a wide variety of services and am still seeing advertisements on them. I REFUSE TO PAY FOR AN EMAIL SERVICE JUST TO REMOVE ADVERTISEMENTS ON IT WHEN I CAN USE 100% FREE ADVEERTISEMENT BLOCKERS THAT ARE MAKING MY EMAIL EXPERIENCE BETTER! If you can stop shoving advertisements in my face then sure i will stop using adblockers, until then, suck it up and deal with the fact that people hate advertisements and are gonna do whatever they want to remove them so they can have a better experience. -

if you want to improve Yahoo, better spam filters would be a good idea. -

Here's the thing. I don't whitelist ANY websites for my adblocker, because no one ever just keeps the ads simple. Everyone wants a pop up, or something that covers half of the webpage, or something that loads a new page, completely hindering my usage of the internet.
So you can take your "Please whitelist us so we can get more ad revenue" back to the people that want to advertise on Yahoo, and tell them to choke on a fat one. I only use Yahoo because I created this account when I was a young teenager, and I don't feel like changing the email associated with every other account that I have. But I gladly will if ads start getting in the way of me checking my email.
TL;DR Choke on a fat one if you think you're advertising to me through my already filled with junk inbox.

When you started scrolling your ads that blocked what I was trying to read that was the final straw. So if you think I will be removing my ad blockers, I am sure I can find one or two other websites that have e-mail too.

First you made setting up filters much worse than before. Now you want me to turn off my add blocker. Gee, I wonder why yahoo is a money losing proposition. I have had my yahoo mail address for more than a decade, and you are actively trying to get me to switch to gmail.
