ads come with spy ware and malware to better give you more ads; many ads can be intrusive and will try to make themselves known to you in the most blatant way. at the same time there is no user curation for ads. lets say im looking for a birthday present or a mothers day present and trying to keep it quiet. if any of my family logs in or sees my ads they will be informed about what i have been browsing. similar to an online internet history only in ad form.
your breach issue has cause for concern that you as a company need to start looking further into internet security and until thats done i will continue to use ad blocker.

Why do I have an adblocker on Yahoo? Because if I don't, I would NOT be able to read my mail having to close down TOO MANY pop up ads, skipping and add to be able to do something.
So, I don't whitelist you, you make yourself veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slooooooooooow and offer me a $3.49/month so that I don't have to deal with ads? Nol thank you, being here too long, at least 20yrs or so.
If one decides not to whitelist, DO NOT PUNISH BY MAKING THINGS SLOWER

Yahoo used to be the go to mail and messenger, now it's appallingly bad, in whatever guise yahoo takes: search engine, mail, messenger, news..all absolutely horrendous. I keep it as a throwaway **** email add for junk that i don't want going to my primary (and excellent) Gmail and it works brilliantly, cos yahoo is absolute **** like all the spam that goes to it. This whitelist note WHICH THEY STILL WILL NOT REMOVE DESPITE OVERWHELMING HATRED FOR IT proves what rubbish yahoo is. GIVE YAHOO THE BOOT!

I only am keeping my yahoo acct for verification forms as is.
Gmail will be my only if this ******** continues. Yahoo has gone completely downhill in the past few years ad this seems to be a whole new all time low. Email is for email not ads. stick to advertising on your shite stories page. -

Enough with the whitelist ad popup. It's going on 2 months now. About 2 weeks is long enough. I am tired of seeing it every time I sign into me email accounts.

I hate the "Whitelist Ad" turn off request! At least we aren't seeing it anymore at every log in! But it needs to go away for good! Especially with all the problems associated a year or so ago with the password security breach. You would think that the last thing in the world that Yahoo Mail would do, is have a "Pop Up" request to turn off your ad blocker.
I cannot think of one positive comment from a user's viewpoint for having the pop-up notification. Google's Gmail doesn't have it, Outlook.com doesn't have it. Yahoo Mail shouldn't wither.

I simply use Yahoo mail for email. I do not refer to Yahoo for any other purpose because I cannot stand seeing annoying **** ads. When I check email, I only want to see email, not **** ads. If this annoyance continues, I am only too happy to totally ditch Yahoo full stop.

I'm going to GMail if you don't stop these popups.

I am already migrating to another site because of this popup and yahoo policy selling my information. Having "yahoo reminder" emails for cheep viagra and refinancing my home doesn't help. Kill the popup and the spam.

You are obviously all about the money and will $hit on your customers in order to generate advertising revenue. So just ignore all feedback and watch your customers leave for gmail. Like you are already doing.
