Frustration continues with the new Yahoo Profile Widgets. (Weather, Horoscope.(etc..) ) The evidence is overwhelming. When people want to sign out of their Yahoo Accounts, they don't want a totally and unnecessary widget getting in the way of signing out of their accounts. That is exactly what the new Yahoo Profile Widgets are. Annoying and frustrating. Please remove the new Profile Widgets on the right side of Yahoo Mail that appears on signing out of Yahoo Mail.

The biggest problems for me with the Yahoo Profile widget is how it slows down the ability to sign out of Yahoo Mail, and also FORCING ME TO SEE THINGS THAT i DON'T WANT TO SEE IN MY INBOX. The best update was the ability to set up Calendar Reminders from your inbox! However, I don't care about weather, finance, or horoscopes when viewing my inbox. My mail and the option to set up calendar reminders are the only things that I want to see in Yahoo Mail because they are useful. The profile widgets are not useful at all, They slow things down, weather widget does not save my state and city, and you can't delete them. At least give us the option in Yahoo Mail to NOT SEE THE WIDGETS in email settings.

Please remove the ability to see the new profile widget when signing out of Yahoo Mail and go back to the way it was before! If you want to add things like Weather and Finance to Yahoo Profile, they should be on a separate page, NOT a part of Yahoo Mail! Hate the way it looks now! I just want mail related items in my Yahoo Mail inbox, not other unrelated garbage!

"Less is More." Any Email program should focus only on the essential elements related to email. An easy log in experience, quality spam guards, quick message responsiveness, lots of storage, and a decent spell checker.

However, when adding things to email that have nothing to do with email, it hinders and over-complicates the user-experience for everyone. I don't want to know the weather, nor my horoscope, nor sports scores, nor financial information when I am navigating my email inbox. I don't want to see Weather, Sports, Financial Information, or Horoscopes, when logging out of Yahoo Mail. These unnecessary Widgets drain browser resources and computer RAM, slow productivity, and waste time. These are the reasons why the new Yahoo Mail Widgets must be removed from all portions of the Yahoo Mail environment.

First choice would be dumping the weather, finance, and horoscope widgets completely. Second choice is removing the widgets by default in Yahoo Mail inbox, but allowing each user the option to turn off or turn on the widget in settings via check-mark boxes or radio buttons.

Unfortunately Yahoo customer support has been useless. Despite me sending them beautiful examples and photos of the issues we have, they keep sending scripted responses of things that we have already done to resolve this. All we can do is get enough people complaining about the new profile widget and maybe they will remove it, like it was back in June 2020 and all the years previously. I have given up on Customer Care from Yahoo.

I have the same complaint. I hate having to see the widgets when I log out of my email. Like Andrew, and many others, we just want to be able to log of our email. For me, the weather widget keeps reappearing, on the next log in after users remove it.

The Widgets should not be in Yahoo Mail at all. Before the July 2020 change over, Yahoo Mail was great! But the widgets make the log out of Yahoo Mail extremely tedious and frustrating.

I agree! The Weather Widget does not even hold my location for the next log in, making it totally useless. Even worse, upon deleting the weather widget it just comes back at the next log in session..

Have the same problem with the Yahoo Mail widget on the right hand side of the screen. The weather information is wrong and does not "hold" for my city. Removing the widget brings it back at every log in! I don't want to see any widgets in Yahoo Mail at all! I only want to see my emails and be able to call up my calendar from my inbox. No weather, no finance, and no horoscope widgets in my email please!

Yes, I have two Yahoo Mail accounts. The insane Yahoo Profile Widgets that never delete and come back when you log in are on one account, and hopefully, never in a million years will be on the other. Weather Widget still can not be deleted completely and still defaults to Sunnyvale California at all log ins. This profile widget garbage that we are forced to see upon logging out of every Yahoo Mail session is the worst change that Yahoo has ever done! Please get rid of these widgets in Yahoo Mail!

Really surprised that this bug was not caught in the testing of the new Profile App. This hopefully will be an easy fix. Just hold my location when I sign out to keep the Yahoo Weather App accurate.

I see that the forced White List notification to enable ads is back! Pease dump this notification and allow us to use or Ad Blockers to block banner ads. All you are doing with forced ads is making people switch email providers, such as going to Gmail.

I hate the "Whitelist Ad" turn off request! At least we aren't seeing it anymore at every log in! But it needs to go away for good! Especially with all the problems associated a year or so ago with the password security breach. You would think that the last thing in the world that Yahoo Mail would do, is have a "Pop Up" request to turn off your ad blocker.

I cannot think of one positive comment from a user's viewpoint for having the pop-up notification. Google's Gmail doesn't have it, Outlook.com doesn't have it. Yahoo Mail shouldn't wither.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to encourage people to whitelist their ad blocker in Yahoo Mail to be shown more memory crunching and potentially malware infected ads should be fired immediately.

If Yahoo is that desperate for revenue, maybe put some SMALL, NON-INTRUSIVE ADS on the homepage. But never in Email! This pop-up notification is horrible!!! One of the worst things that Yahoo has ever done.

Please remove the Inbox Whitelist Notification at once!

Oh please get rid of this Whitelist notification! Or I am moving to Gmail, No Joke! I hate it! Now it shows up on every log in! Before I got Ad Block Plus, Yahoo was giving me INFECTED banner ads! in email I do not want ANY ads in my Yahoo Mail, anywhere.

Why are you not allowing Ad Block Plus to block the banner ads in your emails Yahoo? I have used Yahoo Mail since 1999 with an Ad blocker because I CHOOSE not to see ads. Now I have to turn off my ad blocker to use the latest version of Yahoo Mail. Find another way to make money rather than cluttering up the inbox and sidebar with ads.
