How can I hide the right hand side column permanently?
I use the new Yahoo Mail web interface with "Right" side view message and the advertisement right hand side column pops up at every new email message view.
Is yahoo so kind to make it go away permanently or they want us all to move over to gmail?

Make the top and maybe sidebars collapsible to allow for more viewing room.

Hi, there is a very annoying/inappropriate ads appears on the right ads column in mailbox. I can temporarily close it and it keeps coming back. I need the option to never show that ads again. It is really disgusting to see some med-treatment ads with awful pics in the office.
Cheers,

I love being able to use the "search email" feature." but when that list is presented the right margin is condensed so I can't see the date each entry is posted unless I "expand" to the right, the margin. Then it automatically condenses again, I have to expand again, etc. Then the margin is condensed and there is no arrow for me to expand. frustrating. leave the margin alone, insert an icon to condense IF DESIRED, only.

The four options (Settings, Contact, Calendar, Notepad) should be VERTICAL, not horizontal as they are right now. They take over way too much from the reading panel.
Calendar should open inside this Options panel, NOT a new web site.
Notepad? Who the heck uses that Notepad? And why is it opening a different page? -

Give us a setting to CLOSE the right side white space used by you for ads. It is HUGE and takes up space my email needs. Must be closed EVERY NEW EMAIL READ - should STAY CLOSED if we prefer that or be MUCH NARROWER than it is. Waste of space and horribly annoying.

Have Yahoo Mail work like Yahoo Business mail with the right-hand side window extension sticking, not switching back to narrow every.single.time.

The "Move" - "flyt" in Danish - fold-out is still jumping with different width. The right margin is not fixed.

Its like my mother-in-law, I want it gone, but everything is a reason for it to come back.

Hey, I don't need windows getting smaller so you can include more content. I liked the old one better

How do I get rid of the stupid waste of space right bar? It is stupid that it has an arrow that temporarily hides it until the next email. It should PERMANENTLY hide it. HATE THE NEW LOOK.

If the new format is being forced upon us then so be it.
The first suggestion is to allow the user to customize the layout.
One simple example is the right-hand panel. The panel can be shrunk to the right by pressing the right arrow key. When it is shrunk it should stay shrunk. However, it does not. This is wasting valuable screen space and it is very irritating to have to keep shrinking the panel. Simple usability will always win in the end. -

give a way to use right side space. I don't want 'contact' and 'calendar' and 'notepad' ... horrible and dysfunctional

Hate the new layout. What is it stealing 25% of my scrren space for at the right of the window? Why can't I turn it off?

the biggest thing is make the space on the right part of the inbox , and not some option to be toggled all the time , you idiots

The new format has a broad column at the right side of the mail list, reducing the amount of sender and subject info that is visible. When I turn off uBlock, that column fills with advertisements.
Please remove the right hand column and use that space for longer e-mail sender and subject info. -

Panel on right of emails where you put ads, etc. Much too wide. I want my email section to be wider. I can't see the date they come in. Not only that, but lately when I have an email up, in the ads area, you have started showing how many times I've 'communicated' with that email. I DON'T CARE HOW MANY TIMES WE'VE COMMUNICATED!
Put up a link where I can contact you with a question if you want, but quit force-feeding me info I haven't asked for.
Also, can't scroll down to see bottom of emails. Too much of my computer screen is taken up with headings & menu tabs showing only maybe six emails at a time. Also, big aggravation is no longer have 'move' feature so I can move one folder into another.
Your 'new and improved' email format is a joke. It's not really new and it definitely isn't improved!
But my biggest complaint is I can't search the way I used to. Can't search just in inbox or certain folder, can't search for a specific date, etc. Huge time waster now having to scroll thru all the emails that come up when I search for a specific email, person, subject. Too many emails coming up that have nothing to do with what I typed in the search area. -

Why can't I, or how do I, set the expand arrow on my display to minimize the right side BS art panel and let me see my entire message in full expansion without having to scroll through endless pages? Pain in the BUTT!

When I go to search for a specific email, the right side of the message gets blocked. I've tried to change in settings but it doesn't seem to stay 'set' to anything else.
