How can I hide the right hand side column permanently?
I use the new Yahoo Mail web interface with "Right" side view message and the advertisement right hand side column pops up at every new email message view.
Is yahoo so kind to make it go away permanently or they want us all to move over to gmail?

In my inbox you have a new info box on the right that covers up half of my inbox list. I can't even see the dates, which is really important. It gives me a summary of interactions with an email address, which I do not need. It lets me switch to calendars and settings, but with a box that makes my inbox list almost unusable. I can't figure out a way to make it go away. Hello, it's called a check box in the upper right corner. I don't know how to turn it off by default or if that is even possible. It harms my experience so much that I honestly wonder if you are not trying to make the old interface unusable so that I will finally go to your new interface, which also has a tiny list of emails. C'mon, you CAN'T think this is good UI design.

Why is email body "window" so small.....I can only see about one paragraph of the email at a time...it doesn't work for me - my email address section takes up half the email screen please add a collapse addresses option so I can minimize and see more of my email..thanks

It would look more beautiful if our inbox conversations are broadened horizontally. Thread remain organized at middle interface, keeping some space at right side above which contacts, calender, settings icon appear. Although, there is a '>' button, clicking on which momentarily helps the threads to occupy the whole space but after any activity, this thread tends to shrink in its own position, keeping right side space spare again. I believe, providing an option to broaden the inbox through out interface would make my inbox more pretty.

The new right column can be collapsed, but after taking any action it opens again. Allow us to customize whether this is displayed.

I too would like to see this whole right hand side bar (calendar, notepad, settings area). It takes over my screen with just BLANK because these are not features that i use. I would like to see this area removed, or have an option to keep it closed.

I understand the need for ads in a free version, but please allow the user to make the ad column narrower, and make this function easier to use. I searched how to do this and the results say i should be able to temporarily hide the ads or make the column smaller, but I sure can't make it happen myself without wasting a lot of time looking for these buttons or activated column dividers.
