How can we improve New Mail?

Since videos automatically play when my inbox is empty, I exit Yahoo mail. With old mail I gladly kept it active all the time.

Please provide an easy way to disable automtic video play when the inbox is empty. Thanks.

    I sent myself an email to my main email account. Then I replied with a subject that includes KEEP UNREAD / DO NOT DELETE to keep one email in boxes. Also created a draft that I won't send.

    Get rid of the videos and NO I will not turn my ad blocker off!!!
