I switched to New Mail in order to import a CSV contact list file. Read the instructions to import the file, but do not see an "actions" box to select after clicking on the "contacts" icon. Chose the "..." for more options and selected "import." The import page only offers the options of importing from social accounts, none for importing a csv file!

Also when I chose to compose and click on contacts it goes to the old mail, what kind of email system are you running here, this is why I went back to the old email last time I tried this is stunk then and it stinks now !!!!!!!!!! I should be able to opt back to the prior version of Yahoo Email if I want or am dissatisfied with the newer version, as I am right now.

I have tried to follow the instructions for contacts. I am not in Premium Yahoo just the older version. When I click on the Contacts Icon it takes me to the even older version view from which I used to be able to edit, add, etc. Now, I am in that view for a split second and can do nothing before it reverts back to the former screen. Bring back the ability to add and edit contacts. I have also lost my group contacts. This is very frustrating

Please once gain give us the ability to edit or add to existing contact lists or create new contact lists. This feature appears to have been eliminated in most current version of mail.

The availability to assign contacts to lists has been removed. I am a chamber of commerce office and this is a very very helpful tool for me because not all of may contacts need to receive the same info, such as; businesses, media outlets, local organizations etc. Please reinstate this feature as soon as possible so I don't have to list each contact individually --- very time consuming.

Return the capability to add and remove contacts from lists. Not available in the new version. Looking for a new mail service!

It is unfathomable why you would take this away. It makes no sense whatsoever to remove it. This is how many of us have been utilizing our email for decades now. Please put this feature back into our mail. It is very frustrating not being able to function as I need to. Or should we all just switch to gmail?

Your "add a contact" tab does not work! I can fill in the information you require and when I click to add it says Contact Created but it does not show in my contact list. Very frustrating to not be able to add new contacts!!

The Contact feature is very important to me!! I can't add, edit or create in the contact list as you explained! I don't know why they don't go back to the OLD contact list until they figure out how to address the situation with the New contact Application! Please inform me why they don't let us use the old system until the new one is fixed!!

Don't switch from "Classic Mail" to "New Mail" until the dweebs at Yahoo figure how to put contacts in different lists/categories!! My life is all screwed up because you dweebs are all screwed up.
This switching thing reminds me of the old Cocoa Cola switch and they switched back to "Classic"!! -

I agree. Old "classic" version had group distribution lists and new email version does not. That's outrageous! It's a basic email function -- like lights, toilets and hot water in your home. I also find it totally mystifying that the "suggestion" is ranked 361. It should be in the top 5 -- actually number 1. How utterly ridiculous!!! Now I'm forced to go to another mail package because it's the only way I can effectively communicate with my small organization of 80 members. Not really an improvement to take a major step backwards on software that has met my needs for the past five years...

I used to be able to create a group list, add a contact, delete a contact etc. Now I can create and edit a new contact but cannot put that contact into an existing list. Nor can I create a new group list. It was so much better before. The Help person said to post my 'new idea' on this forum?
