Classic Yahoo Mail should always be an option for users. Classic Yahoo Mail is the main reason I stayed with Yahoo Mail. How can I get Classic Mail back?

I absolutely hate the new Yahoo email and don't have time to learn and get used to a new email right now. Please give us the option of continuing with the old version. If you must switch, give us time with a deadline to switch over.

The font settings have changed. As an older user with diminishing eye sight, I had my font enlarged, but the day Yahoo upgraded to a new Email which I found confusing, I went back to the old Email and found it had been changed too. One of those changes was my font size. I found "Setting" on the page, but it doesn't discuss font size. How do I change the font size to a larger size???

I can't even stand it, they make random decisions about how we can view our email and give us NO flexibility to view it the way we want to. I want to sort by UNREAD, can no longer do that, and I am PO'd about it.

can not open email without all this boxes opening, some go to trash then i cannot find trash or spam. Cannot tell read from unread. everything jumps all over the place. Page is so bright my eyes water when I try to go through my emails. Fowarded emails, I cannot not find original messages to print out. Had I know you were going to do this, I would have copied and saved my stuff before hand. I am seriously looking at another email provider. THIS IS THE WORST YOUR MAIL HAS BEEN SINCE I STARTED USING IT 27 YEARS AGO.

Bring back Classic Mail. This now behaves and looks just like Gmail, which is horrible. If it AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT. So many features are gone. I want to be able to select and trash MANY emails at one time, not just one at a time. I want my reading pane AT THE RIGHT side back. It's very hard to read which emails are new and which I have read already. There are just so many things. I have Gmail for work and I run it thru Outlook because Gmail sucks and now Yahoo is EXACTLY like Gmail. We all want Classic back. Keep that choice available to us.

I HATE the new email version and when I switch back to the old one - it's still not the same - it cuts off the full list of my inbox messages - I delete an email and it does not advance to the next email – the font is a tiny size and I can barely read it – it doesn’t let me preview attachements – adding multiple attachments has become difficult and I have to do it one at a time.
I could continue with issues – so let’s start with these!

UPDATE: Now both my email addresses have switched to the new UI and I am still not able to navigate between the two accounts. I am very disappointed, this is an incredibly sloppy way to introduce your users to a new UI. This seems to be unfinished - you should have allowed your users to opt-in at will if they wanted to be a part of experimental, sloppy changes.
I have 2 Yahoo email addresses. One of them (without my permission) was switched over to the new Yahoo UI, which I do not approve of. I was able to switch my account to "Basic Mail", which I also do not approve of as the "Basic Mail" has no user settings, though it is better than the new "Standard" UI. I am very happy to see that my other account is still on the UI that I had set it to. THAT SAID, when I am logged into the New UI Account, I am unable to switch to my other inbox without going to a new page. This is a terrible user experience. I stayed on Yahoo Mail for years without switching to Gmail because I thought Yahoo better allowed me to organize and view all my messages at a high level without any flashy features getting in the way. I am very sad that Yahoo has decided to make the decision to be more like Gmail, but furthermore, if I am not able to switch between my two inboxes with one click of a button on the same page, I will be sure to delete both accounts. -

I do not like the new email set up at all. Like being able to click and bring up emails from the same sender..

I am so tired of the SPAM --- fix it so we can report SPAM and report Phishing and report Bad actors. You make us jump through too many hoops to verify who we are yet you allow all those spammers without us being able to report them.
Fix it

Couldn't agree more. I've been using Yahoo mail for more than 20 years.. and never had a complaint about updates. This new round of updates makes Yahoo mail nearly unusable, and extremely less efficient. Your example is a perfect point. Extra moves and extra clicks to do the same processes.

Just let us keep using the old email format. If people want a new one.. great, but don't force everyone to try and learn a new dumbed down version.

This!!! SOOOO much THIS! I hate the new mail. You would think with how many people have opted out of the new mail over the years, they'd realize we don't want/need upgrades

Seriously the New Yahoo Mail does not work right. It hides emails, it's got UI issues, and a whole myriad of other problems. Yahoo Basic, which is slightly better still lacks several elements that make it as good as classic.
If you refuse to give us the ability to return to Classic at least add some features to Basic to make it easier for customers. Such as auto refresh and the ability to seamlessly switch through multiple accounts like we can in Classic and New Yahoo Mail. -

the old email was easier to navigate. I don't want to scroll multiple screens to get my email. sometimes the old is better than the new.
