  1. Ads take too much room on reading pane

    I don't mind the ads on the side but the ads along the bottom take up to much room, make them smaller or better yet get rid of them.

  2. Don't get rid of notepad!

    Just got the update that Yahoo is getting rid of Notepad!! Why?? This is ludicrous! First you get rid of email theme for emailing and now you're getting rid of my most used feature!!
    I have a business that runs YAHOO and this is a very useful tool in one place.
    Why are you doing this??

    I am trying to check how much storage i have used. Your website says this is available under "Settings" but it is not. Please make it easier to check on storage usage.

  5. "Account disconnected" with outlook, hotmail

    Yahoo is experiencing an error when adding mailboxes from Outlook and Hotmail; after accepting the request, a message appears saying "Account disconnected".

  6. Additional storage options need to be improved ASAP.

    Getting additional space on Yahoo needs to be improved.

    Current options are :
    Free: 15 GB || £1.99/ mo: 100 GB || £9.99/ mo: 1 TB

    Can Yahoo come up with something like 50GB and amount payable quarterly/half-yearly/yearly?

    Why does it have to be monthly ONLY????

  7. Its so laggy.

    Whenever i have the mail.yahoo.com page open with my email my entire browser lags. it even lags youtube videos. I dont understand how resource hungry this page is... is it the ads setup? is it just the poor coding?

  10. Dark mode-Read vs. Unread

    I have difficulty seeing the difference between "Read" and "Unread" emails in "Dark" mode. This was much easier to differentiate in the Basic email version.
    OR .... bring back the option of BASIC email

  11. moving an email to report spam folder in the older version of Yahoo mail

    I don't like the new email and you've removed my ability to move an email to report spam in the older version. What is up with that? are you just telling us that Yahoo is throwing us to the dogs if we fail to follow your command to switch to the new version?

  12. Correct profile Name changes.

    When you ask us if we'd like to change our name on the email and instil the change on the home page... it should also reflect that change when people look up the email and see the name on the account.. (my case: my profile says -First/Last name-. But when folks write to my email, it brings up my old fake online name I used as a teenager, Luna Nyx. Even after I edited my profile to have the correct name.)

  13. Restore the old mail, new one bites!

    I like the old mail better , I could see all my accounts easily. I don't like change , the new lai is confusing. Can I please have my old mail look back????

  14. Make the folders section instantly visible again.

    In the new design, I can't see the links to my folders unless I go into another folder. It used to be that my folders were all instantly visible and, if there were any unread messages in those folders, there would be a number next to the folder telling me how many unread messages there were. Now, the number is still there, but it's only visible if I specifically check the "folders" section.

    The folders section should be instantly visible. That way, if I get any mail from someone important, I'll instantly see it.

    I hate the new yahoo mail !! I want it to look as much like Outlook as possible.... you have ruined it. If I had wanted to use something that looks like Gmail I would have chosen that one instead. YUCK!!

  16. By dividing by dates like the classic version had

    i miss the classic yahoo version that divided by dates where there were separate blocks for today, yesterday, etc. It helped visually and for organization. Would be great if you could bring it back.
