Ads take too much room on reading pane
I don't mind the ads on the side but the ads along the bottom take up to much room, make them smaller or better yet get rid of them.

When I signed up for Mail+, one of the key benefits was an ad-free experience across Yahoo. Since then, that benefit has disappeared, and they've even reduced the amount of inbox storage available. Yet I'm still paying for the "no ads" promise.
So imagine my surprise when I opened my inbox and was greeted by a massive promotion for 50% off the first year of Monarch—presented as a special "perk" for Mail+ users. But let's be honest: it's an ad. And not a subtle one, either. It's huge.

I do not understand when you said my account is full and need to free up space, and I delete hundreds of emails from both inbox and trash as well, then why it still says that my account is full and need to free up or buy some more space? how many emails should I delete to feel that it is enough for not to be full?

Yahoo reading external has a problem to fix
I use Thunderbird to read my email from Yahoo when it is convenient. I have 3 accounts with Yahoo. They use to all work fine reading in the messages. Now my crazyforcountry@yahoo.com account does not work right. When it was reading in my mail, it would freeze in the read process before finishing. Next try would read the same messages and freeze before finishing, so Yahoo messages did not go to the trash. I tried to make a new Thunderbird account, and not use the old one thinking something is wrong with the old account. Making a new account did…

I hate the newer designs. I have no idea why you would force those on people all of a sudden. Us basuic users just want a fast, effective and text based mailbox.

Bug - repeatedly redirected to update browser page in Basic Mail
Thank you for bringing back the Basic Mail service, but I wish to report a bug. On the “Update your browser” page, the “You can still use the basic version of Yahoo Mail” link correctly takes me to Basic Mail. However, attempting any action here takes me back to the “Update your browser” page - clicking an email, clicking Inbox, attempting to move an email to a folder, moving to the next page, etc. just takes me to https://mail.yahoo.com/n?.src=ym&reason=myc (My browser is as up-to-date as possible for this machine, so the Basic Mail has been indispensable for me. Thanks!)

Add to Contacts doesn't work
Any email I get, I am unable to select the "add to contacts" and have it work. It always says "Unable to Save". The only way I can save a new contact is go to my Lists, select ALL, select Add new contact, and manually type everything in. You shouldn't have "add to contacts" appear under the sender or recipients if it doesn't actually work

My PC has slowed to a crawl with your y-mail constantly accessing the internet while I type.

New Yahoo Mail is super confusing. See below for more information.
The new Yahoo mail does not come with the box that mass deletes emails 40, or 100 at a time. I get a ton of emails and deleting one by one will take forever and takes time away from other things I need to do. Also, the new look for Yahoo mail does not separate the ads from the emails very well visually. As I deleted emails, all of a sudden I would accidentally click on an ad and it would open up another window. Then I have to close that window out to return to my mail. This happened…

Complete settings on ipad / tablet view
A hacker got into a yahoo mail account and, among other things, added a filter to send new messages to trash. We looked at settings on the ipad as we were traveling and didn't see filters, so didn't realize this. Today we were on a desktop system and were able to correct it. Please ensure that filters, and perhaps all settings, are available in the ipad view as well as the desktop view.
