Cox.net transition is a nightmare
Since I started my Cox transfer it has been a nightmare on my Mac and my PC. Even my My.Yahoo home page on the Mac is screwed up. Only device working properly is my Samsung Phone.

If you are having issues with the migration from Cox to Yahoo, Cox, your old provider has provided a link for help. Please go there to get help or you can contact our Customer Care team at help.yahoo.com. They manage the sign in flow or any account issues. They are separate from the Yahoo Mail team. Thanks!

WHY DID COX FORCE US TO CHANGE TO A **** PROVIDER???
I amnot getting emails and now locked out of so many things because yahoo wont let them in or puts stuff in trash, i have lost tons of emails that are important.
This service has cost me money like thousands. how can i switch to anything but yahoo and keep my email address??
this is a huge joke it just is very upsetting. -

Not absolutely terrible, but the promised transition between COX and Yahoo never fully materialized.
To make matters worse, I can't seem to find the network info for Yahoo to correct matters. Wish I could find these details!
Apple MAIL shows Yahoo accessible as an account but cannot pair with it. I could pair with Yahoo BEFORE the transition.
Yahoo: Can you please correct the pair issue? -

Yes ! Cox with an X abandoned their customers, now it's a data collecting service for the Left (as it seems). Forcing Marxist ads, destroying personal data I feel is on purpose. I would like any so-called "tech" company to tell me what the "end-game" is, turning this country into another 3rd world **** will help them? Today I look for ways TO NOT SUPPORT THESE IDIOLOGIES & Ignorance. amazon, chase, BofA, netflix, abc, nbc, cbs, SO MANY ! have left American values. I buy Guns and Ammo which seems to be the next Only viable currency of the future. Sorry, can't find it in my heart to vote for a marxist & a pedophile without the intelligence to run a 7/11, let alone, a country, while spews lie after stupid lie to the Ignorant.

Thanks for NOTHING COX!! ever since this transfer from cox email to Yahoo ive had nothing but frustration with misplaced emails once you open/read an email it will be lost from the in box and moved over to deleted or archive very frustrating. Not to mention the stupid sales spam that i must see and delete everyday bunch of BS that we must pay to have these ads removed. Once my contract with cox is up im leaving to find a better service provider.

I get email from yahoo in my Thunderbird account and then it unlinks and I don't get it anymore. Redo the whole thing and it starts the cycle all over. Today I get NO email on thunderbird. This is frustrating. I fixed my husbands emails yesterday. Mine was working fine and now today NOT. Really unhappy.

Email is automatically sent to the trash - within 12 hours of it being sent! Tech support is a joke! Can't understand them and I don't remember what info was given when signed up for the cox account 30(?) years ago! I have had another email address through Yahoo for years and it works nothing like this new Transition! The new one is a real pain and I don't think there is anyone at yahoo that cares!

Cox did its customers a great disservice by switching to Yahoo Mail. It completely sucks! If I didn't have to go everywhere and change my email address I'd get out of it. They freaking want me to pay to send emails to myself - which I used all the time! Don't they get enough money with all the ads we have to deal with? Gonna figure a way out of this ****** mail service!!!

I assume you are reading these comments and are doing something about it.
Since my Cox.net account was formally transferred to Yahoo couple of weeks ago I no longer receive my new mail on my Samsung phone, although my phone is fully sync all the time witn my PC.
What other detail and specifics do you need? How do I get my mail on my phone?

Funny that your Samsung Email App works.
Since my Cox account was trensferred to Yahoo Mail 2 weeks ago my Samsung Emaill App, although is syinchronized with my PC all the time is not receiving any of my new mail that now goes to Yahoo mail using my old @Cox.net address.
A true nightmare despite all the Cox and Yahoo promises that this will be a seamless transfer.
How do I have my incoming new mail to show on my Samsung phone Email ?

This UN-noticed and thoroughly messed up transition has cost me years of e mail records, personal files, and the ability to use Outlook. No matter what IMAP settings you try Yahoo will not run in Outlook as synched IMAP. You can get it partially in using POP settings but you still lose all connectivity to previous e mail and personal files and then you have to clean up both Outlook and Yahoo daily--they won't synch in POP--all you get are copies. Yahoo is up to some sort of force-feed to use their ad and spam-laced system and Cox left us high and dry. Many with businesses need to preserve their e mail addresses but the price is steep. With Yahoo the basic functionality just isn't there and many have lost years of day to day tending to their business e mail communications. Yahoo has GOT to make it possible to set up in Outlook with IMAP. Saying it's possible is not enough. You have to make it really work.

Going from Cox to Yahoo is horrible. Can't send emails, all contacts didn't get transferred, they want you to pay extra to be ad free & to speak to someone for help. Yahoo is useless. The transition couldn't have happened at a worse time (the day before I'm leaving for a week). Cox & Yahoo will be out as soon as I get back.

we didn't get spam/ads with Cox, now I have to pay extra for that. today we are getting message that E-mail message would not load & to try again. sometimes loads sometime not. e-mail screen won't hold size setting. have to log in every day or nothing loads. this was supposed to be the same as Cox, it's not.

Yahoo just took over my Cox account this morning. I have NEVER had so much useless email come through. It's like the SPAM door opened up and just lets anything in. Not happy with that!
