False Advertising

Add Origin via IP address Tracking
Comment section on YAHOO has been overwhelmed for some time by trolls, bots, & bad actors. I am NOT suggest you moderate or censor your platform more. However, you COULD let your users make intelligent assessments regarding what they are seeing.
A simple addendum to users' icon or name - flagging country of origin and/or VPN usage by tracking IP addresses.This would be a quick and relatively easy 'fix'.
Per the TOS everyone accepts without reading, YAHOO does collect and track IP addresses. You just need to make it transparent to the users.238th ranked -

Shorter ads
The video ads should be 15 seconds or less. When I see that an ad is 30 seconds I immediately leave the site and look for the video elsewhere.

Your Message Boards are a joke
The message boards on Yahoo are a joke. This is particularly true of the sports message boards and specifically the forums to discuss games (i.e. for example Detroit Tigers v KC Royals). One of your principle terms and conditions of service and posting guidelines is not to impersonate other users. Despite this, there are individuals that create fake accounts to do just that. They pose as the actual users and make, in some cases, EXTREMELY inappropriate posts. Your “report abuse” feature is the equivalent of lip service. I didnt know crossbow murders are such a positive subject
Why does the article on the news section have such a happy sounding song? I feel like its pretty insensitive to the victims of the double homicide to show a video explaining their murder with music that sounds so happy and inspirational. I would suggest you either remove the article or change the music in it.

I am removing Yahoo as my home page
The fact that your home page does not allow the user to personalize? Far beyond outdated. If something I don't want to see pops up I should have the ability to swipe it away or choose not to see articles from that platform.
AND IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO SO then it should be easy...easy like a swipe not click on every option digging and searching
