I thought of this entire article myself a few weeks ago and I tried to get my my view posted elsewhere, but now I got to respond to this. As a Native American (Cherokee) I find Juneteenth to be absurdly ridiculous. Why would we as a People want to celebrate a tragedy? I'm so very sick of your articles – do you really think we care what J Lo is wearing? Do you think we care that Taylor Swift is coming out with a Christmas song??? Do you really think we care what Colin Kaepernick is doing? I have so had it with Yahoo, and happy I've found the Fox News app – at least they report The news going on in the world, and not silly Frou Frou articles!! 🙄

Please eliminate the comments section at the end of articles. It seems as if many of the comments are being posted by trolls, and quite possibly foreign actors, which causes needless conflict in our society. It would be better to simply turn the comments off.

Add Origin via IP address Tracking
Comment section on YAHOO has been overwhelmed for some time by trolls, bots, & bad actors. I am NOT suggest you moderate or censor your platform more. However, you COULD let your users make intelligent assessments regarding what they are seeing.
A simple addendum to users' icon or name - flagging country of origin and/or VPN usage by tracking IP addresses.This would be a quick and relatively easy 'fix'.
Per the TOS everyone accepts without reading, YAHOO does collect and track IP addresses. You just need to make it transparent to the users.214th ranked -

Why aren't news articles about current Middle East situation in the news feed? Anytime it an article bashing President Trump news feed is full of them, now there is nothing? Makes you wonder if Yahoo is actually independent/none biased.

Bring back show less option for keywords not publishers
A while back, your "show less" option was for keywords instead of publishers. I have nothing against publishers, I just wish to hear less stories of certain people. I feel you are punishing the publishers instead of the actual reason for us using the "show less" button. We don't want to read certain stories instead of certain publishers. Maybe then, you will realize that the "trending" people really are not trending.

Science/technology Section please
There is so much new technology and science being developed and would like to see some publication of these things. Not interested in what China and Russia are stealing from industrial USA, thats always going to be an issue. Our youth needs to reslize we need to stay first on track.
