An alternate universe
We appear to have crossed over into an alternate univers. Where economics, debt or inflation no longer matter. Where lies, half-truths and absurd political-correct statements are accepted as facts/truth without any scientific facts or studies to back them up. Right is now wrong. Wrong is now right. Statistics and facts are now unacceptable while PC rhetoric and lies about gender, US history and systemic-racism go unchallenged by our press and so-called leaders. We definitely have entered an alternate universe! And, similar to all great societies that came before us historically. I predict It will not end well. Char.

I would suggest yahoo add a frequently asked question section below stories to address the most common questions and opinions
People have questions and experts express opinions and the most frequent ones should be added to top stories in my opinion

Rampant racism in the comment section
I do not understand why you still choose to allow racism to run rampant throughout the comment section. What will it take for you to actually do something about it? A lawsuit? From where I’m standing there’s enough evidence to back that claim, this will happen to your website. Other prominent websites do care, and take the time to address and correct this. You’re gonna start losing subscribers worldwide if this continues. You need to hire someone to actually take the time, go thru the comments, flag and ban the appropriate individual IP’s and hold them accountable. Stop contributing to…

REAL NEWS
I'm so very sick of your articles – do you really think we care what J Lo is wearing? Do you think we care that Taylor Swift is coming out with a Christmas song??? Do you really think we care what Colin Kaepernick is doing? I have so had it with Yahoo, and happy I've found the Fox News app – at least they report The news going on in the world, and not silly Frou Frou articles!! 🙄

First Amendment
It would be nice if the people running Yahoo Finance blog page didnt pick and choose what to post and what not to post. Talk about rigging communications with fellow investors. You need to change this. They took down 8 of my posts for no reason.

shadow banning, making sign in difficult
Yahoo has disabled me in the comments section , I have done nothing wrong and have been a yahoo user for nearly 20 years , I have always followed your guidelines in terms and conditions, I have seen nothing in there that has anything to do with political affiliations as your posts are mainly political in nature and allow comments , why wouldn’t you allow all political points of view ?
Another issue, I’ve had the same phone and number for years but I have to “ verify” every time when signing in. There were and are groups that suppress…113th ranked -
This is literally, without exaggeration the least user friendly and terrible website experience I’ve ever had.

Comments
Please eliminate the comments section at the end of articles. It seems as if many of the comments are being posted by trolls, and quite possibly foreign actors, which causes needless conflict in our society. It would be better to simply turn the comments off.

I think the homepage oddly has only articles about white people in American Society, I don’t see enough positive articles about other races
Please change. Thank you. Getting motion sick from the white washing 🤢

Make blue dot go away, hate the notifications
I have turned off everything I can find relating to notifications. You make it appear as if I have new emails, and instead it is useless, time wasting ****. Seriously, you should have to pay me back for the collective time wasted!

More News, Less Fluff
Your newsfeed is embarrassingly misogynistic and so hard to get through. Is Yahoo a tabloid outlet or what? Why, oh why everytime I look at Yahoo the feed shows pictures of women of any age being objectified with suggestive captions about her body? I love your sports, Fantasy Football, but the newsfeed needs to be less *, and more relative newsy. Your lite * approach is offensive.

Add Origin via IP address Tracking
Comment section on YAHOO has been overwhelmed for some time by trolls, bots, & bad actors. I am NOT suggest you moderate or censor your platform more. However, you COULD let your users make intelligent assessments regarding what they are seeing.
A simple addendum to users' icon or name - flagging country of origin and/or VPN usage by tracking IP addresses. This would be a quick and relatively easy 'fix'.
Per the TOS everyone accepts without reading, YAHOO does collect and track IP addresses. You just need to make it transparent to the users.214th ranked -

Get rid of the ads, and focus on real news, not fashion, sports, gossip. Yahoo is currently looking more similar to a tabloid rag.
Get rid of the ads, and focus on real news, not fashion, sports, gossip. Yahoo is currently looking more similar to a tabloid rag. Remove the non newsworthy items, which are 90% of your current content. You must have a bunch of puberty aged staff deciding what content to publish.

UK yahoo is so much better!! They have stories that matter, not just vapid entertainment stories.
Get stories that are more poignant and less vapid. Too much useless entertainment that is just fake news. Take a page from UK yahoo and get a better format. More info less garbage.
