Display folders on the side bar
I would prefer if the folders section was always visible on the left sidebar. Currently, having to click "Folders" and then select a specific folder adds unnecessary steps to the workflow. Ideally, the folders should be displayed by default for quick access.

AGREE - I liked it better when I could view all the folders I created. I don't want to dig. Even an extra 2 clicks is not preferred. Compacting everything is not better. At least allow users to select which folders to keep on the main screen. That simple functionality would make a big difference.

Agreed! I don't want to click the ... to reach the Trash folder. Please bring the Empty Trash back to us, too! The UI color settings are also gone.

Make it easy. Just allow drag and drop so we can choose what folders appear in the left sidebar. If nothing else, SPAM needs to be shown without clicking the three dots.

An improvement would be to give us the ability to designate the top 10 or 20 folders we would like displayed on the left by default. So that we can easily access our most frequently used folders without needing to scroll through a long list if more than a page in length.

Agreed. The folders need to be visible so we can switch quickly from one to the other without the extra click to open 'Folders'. This forces an extra click just to see the item count or open a folder. Since I filter most of my email to folders, they are as critical to view for instant access as the inbox.

Please make the folders visible on the left sidebar. Having to open the Folder icon every time is very inefficient. This is not an improvement at all.

Go Back to older folder view so trash, spam, and sub-folders can all be viewed on left at once. Seems to be no way to get back to this option. Also grouping by months is gone which made it easier to see older messages at a quick glance. Don't like the new "View" on mail, it stinks

With the spam box hidden, it makes it easier to forget to check it. The Spam and Trash folders should be visible, without clicking your three dots, which seem to be there to hide everything

There is empty space below the items shown now. No need to hide the menu items and show the 3 dots to expose the additional choices. It just adds 1 more click. Also, let the user arrange the left menu items in the order they want, e.g., unread above all.
