Differentiation Between Unread and Read Emails
It is much harder to differentiate between unread and read email. The background color for read emails should be a higher contrast tot he unread ones.

Bring back the classic email. This change is not for the best.

Agreed I don't like the gray highlight on read emails. Easy enough to put this option in settings - don't force this on people. Super distracting.

Seriously......it was fine the way it was.

PLEASE REMOVE THIS LATEST UPDATE. THE 2 SHADES OF WHITE TO SHOW READ AND UNREAD IS TERRIBLE.

I can't use the new dark-mode because I can't tell the difference between read and unread messages. Read messages should use light gray text on black background while unread messages should be bold-white on dark-gray background.

I am lost with this new format. It's way too confusing. My unread emails aren't marked noticeably anymore, and there's no longer a count of the number of unread messages. Even those that I have read still look the same -- there's no obvious change in marks or appearance. This new format is terrible. Change it back, or I'm dumping yahoo mail.

Bring back CLASSIC! Get rid of color circles and who highlights read emails, *** backwards!

Agreed. It's very confusing. I can't even think of any other program that highlights things you've already read. It's backwards and really, just unnecessary design.

I do NOT like the highlighted grey read emails. Please give an option to either go back to old version or at least to not have to view the grey highlighted background. My eyes and brain skip over those.

Classic was better, this new version stinks!

Now the inbox is way too busy with color circles. I want to go back to being able to scan my inbox without all the distracting symbols/letters for each sender. Also now I can only see about 8 emails without scrolling down, whereas before I could see about 15-20 on my laptop screen. There is no way to minimize the right hand column and expand the main inbox to see more of the message.

The Mark As Read feature should be optional. I don't like that my emails are highlighted and unhighlighted automatically, I like to decide what is highlighted. There is no where to turn off this setting.

The grey background for the read emails is too dark in comparison to the white for the unread. It makes the whole page too busy, and it's hard to read and notice the read emails with the dark grey background. But I don't want to leave all of my emails as "unread"! I liked the bold type option for unread, and not bold for read. Why did you need to change it?

It's not just the read/unread emails. There is no contrast on the page at all. Everything is too white. The borders and background should be a color, not light gray. The whole look of the new version feels like it was designed by someone with beginner coding skills. It's like they're trying to be Gmail but can't pull it off. Just embarrassing.

I can't tell if I have read the emails or not with this one version, why are you designing it like this?

I dont like that the emails are all shown in grey as if they have all been selected. Its confusing.
One emails are individually selected they stay the same grey. Please fix this its horrible.

Couldn't agree more. It's the kind of pointless change that makes me wanna drop yahoo email.

Why not an option for the classic email? Ad money a factor. You guys must have too much time on your hands to come up with this new unwelcome ****** design.
