Add an option to turn off AI summaries.
It might be useful for people with robust business-style accounts, but most of my messages are already short, or they're notifications. It makes the "summaries" redundant and obnoxious.

The AI Summaries are inane, obnoxious and unnecessary. They usurp the ability to quickly get to the REAL message. Do you really think we're THAT stupid???

Redundant, obnoxious and CREEPY. Not to mention that it strips the enjoyment out of reading well-written prose.

The summaries are incorrect, creepy and disconcerting, and reading them wastes more time than than they will ever hope to save. You need a ranking higher than critical for things like this that will truly cause me to switch to another email app.

Very confusing - and often times INCORRECT at summarizing an email.
REMOVE the summary and let me READ my emails!!!

I absolutely HATE the summary feature. I am enraged that email that I write and send is "summarized" and sent to my recipients without my even seeing it first! I refuse to have my messages added to , subtracted from, or interpreted before it goes to recipients. This is a breach of privacy and should be legally actionable. If someone stood by the mailbox, opened your letters and read them, and added their summary of the content, resealed it and sent it out without your knowledge, would you stand for it? I am not standing for this! And it is nauseating to receive an email that has been "summarized for me." I just got a bill and the Yahoo feature "summarized" that this company wanted me to pay a bill. Useless, a waste of space, and insulting. I have been with Yahoo for many years, but will have to switch if this continues. Just STOP it!!

The AI summary adds no value and instead adds a block of text you have to scroll past to get to the actual email.

A completely worthless feature and it's insane you can't turn it off. I'm this close to jumping ship to gmail...

These summaries are really annoying. The column provided for previews of my messages is already too narrow to display the entire width of the lines or images. With a huge amount of space being taken up by the AI-generated summary, most of my message preview is off the screen and I have to scroll to find it. Please stop with the summaries, or at least allow users to opt out of them. (Opting in would be even better -- omit them by default.)

The summaries are so long, I have to scroll down just to read the actual email that was sent :(

This "feature" is totally annoying and useless.
I'm capable of reading my own email, I don't need AI to do it for me. -

Please give users the option to turn off AI summaries. They are not effective or accurate and just get in the way of reading emails.

Nobody asked for this...nobody wants it. We don't want to wait for you to release the ability to turn this off...we want you to remove it. Oh, and fire your product manager.

Give me a way to turn off the AI summary of my mail. This is absolutely a mess and many times inappropriate or wrong. How do I turn this "feature" off?

New waste of time and effort to go through email. Delete Ai summaries. Waste of time. Restore access to spam folder and trash folder

This feature is completely useless. I don't want to read Yahoo's AI version of the email. I want to read the email sent to me BY THE SENDER. Having to scroll through your redundant summary is extremely annoying.

I agree. Very annoying and a waste of scarce space.

The AI summaries are irritating, redundant and misleading. Many are just plain inaccurate. Please turn them off!!!!!!

This one defect alone is enough for me to dump Yahoo altogether after almost 30 years!

Who wants AI all the time?

Please add the option for us to opt out of the AI summary feature. It is inaccurate and unnecessary, while also contributing to the waste of natural resources. I did not consent to Yahoo using my personal data to train AI.
